Founder, Drew Campbell started his career in electronics in 1999 in the West Vancouver Future Shop location. He immediately saw the need for electronics consumers to not only be sold the equipment but actually have their equipment installed for them. It was at that time that his first company was formed in 2003 " Crystal Clear Installations ". In the process of running the business it was extremely obvious that installations was just a small portion of what was lacking in the services that were being provided. It was at that juncture in 2004 that Drew became a managing partner in the company Smart Home Shop and began learning how to automate homes.
After four years working as a managing partner Drew felt that it was time to break off from Smart Home Shop and create Paramount Automation Ltd. which focuses on automating and controlling homes using all Apple based products.
