We do repairs and installations and sales of all types of interior and exterior residential & commercial doors (except garage doors).

Replacing a door can be costly and time-consuming, and sometimes all that is needed is a repair or replacement of a door part. Give us a call to assess the issue and we will fix it whenever possible or recommend a replacement only if necessary.

Common door problems we fix include doors not closing/ latching/ locking/ fitting properly, misalignment, sticky pocket doors, broken or rotting door and/or door jamb (frame) or lintel or threshold, loose hinges or door knobs, loose or malfunctioning deadbolts, noisy hinges, door closer or handle malfunction, worn out weather stripping, broken screen doors, adding security parts, soft closures to sliding doors, changing swing direction of door, and more.

Door retailers typically require you to purchase a prehung door, but if you simply want a new slab, we can get components individually to best suit your needs. Based in Hope, BC, Vancouver Door Doctor is a small, family-run company. It is owned and operated by Salvador P rez de Le n and his fianc Kristine. Sal has worked in the renovations industry for many decades providing construction and home renovation services with a specialization in carpentry. Kristine has spent her career in business, project and financial management, communications and customer service. Together they bring you a suite of experience and expertise you can trust and rely on. When they're not busy working, you can find them spending time with their two daughters out in nature. They love exploring the great outdoors hiking, rock climbing, paddleboarding and overlanding in their Jeep especially.

The Vancouver Door Doctor family includes a small team of skilled tradespeople that can fix any door-related problem you might have. Operations are based in Hope, with the team servicing all communities throughout the Fraser Valley, Cascades, Canyons, and the Greater Vancouver area in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
