Looking to update my current dinning room table with new legs. Would like to keep the wood surface as is, but leaning towards steel legs. Could someone give me an indication on how much that might cost?
Hi Cam,
Tough question. It really depends how easily the metal legs you choose can be adapted to the mounting system that the wooden legs used. If it is fairly simple, it could take 2 to 4 hours. If it needs lot of metalwork or wood fabrication, it could easily be 1 or 2 days. That is just the labour side of it. If the legs themselves need to be fabbed, that could add quite a bit for the design and manufacturing but would make the attachment easier as it would be part of the design.
So to attach costs to that, anywhere from $200.00 to $1000.00 plus.
Hope this helps a little bit.
Good luck with it.
