- it's now been 3 weeks since the final repairs made after a leak from condo above, 'door' sized section of 2-layers of drywall was removed and replaced
- stipple removed from entire ceiling and put back on and painted
- when it's completely dark at night, with one of the ceiling corridor lights pointing towards the back of the living room in direction of the repair, humps/ridges on the drywall ceiling can be seen from as far away as the front door.
- contractor gives excuses and won't say why it happened or that he'll fix it
- my hardwood floors were left completely wet/drenched when workers left
what should I do now - bring in the pros to fix it at my expense?
I'm a little unclear as to what the question is here....
Are you asking how to fix it yourself? Or if there are anything to do about the contractor? Or what is causing the uneven ceiling in the first place?
Contractor hired by Condo corp. - uneasy about having same contractor doing the re-repair.
Would like to know what caused the ceiling to end up with these humps/ridges.
Was Is it a mudding or taping problem or way too much moisture to the drywall when removing stipple and paint/primer applied at same time?
