I found this picture on TrustedPros and may be interested in a similar project but would first like to know what the estimated cost would be.
Hi Tatiana,
It's very hard to give an estimate over a forum like this without knowing the amount of linear feet of fencing you need, how many gates, how high the fence would be, etc.
Typically most contractors will come and give you a free quote when you are looking at doing projects like this.
Some things to note when having contractors come through, make sure they are quoting for fence posts that will be dug down approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the height of the post above the ground to ensure your fence will have the proper support it needs to withstand winds, etc. Make sure you ask them about WSIB coverage and insurance so that you know you aren't liable for anyone who gets hurt on your property; ask for proof of both as any legitimate business shouldn't hesitate to provide that to you. If you are hiring a solo contractor, he may be exempt from mandatory WSIB coverage, but if they have anyone working on site with them, make sure they have coverage and proof of it.
Ask about warranties as well in case a part of the fence fails, and always get a minimum 3 quotes to ensure you are getting a fair price.
I would recommend posting your project through TrustedPros as they provide an excellent service that allows you to have a head start on finding reputable contractors for your project!
Good luck on your project!
