Joints creak/thuds from hot water pipe

How can I stop joints from creaking due to hot water pipe going thru joints via drilled holes?

You need to contact a plumber for this issue.

You will need to access the pipe and use a nylon insert on every penetration.This applies to wood or metal studs. It is also important to leave room for expansion between bends.

The pipe is running thru drilled holes in the josts and not studs. Can I simply make the holes bigger so the pipe has room to expand?
