Hello, just quickly based on materials and size, if framing is already up, for drywall, insulation,vapor barrier, tape and putty, and sanding, can be anywhere from 6$-10$ a sq.ft.

Hi there,

The price to drywall (including mud, taping and sanding) a 1000 sq ft basement ranges from $5000-10,500. If you want to use moisture resistance panels, expect the cost to be roughly 10% more.

A rough estimate would be $5-$10/sq ft. The larger the basement the better pricing you can expect to get from your contractor.

You should expect labor to be $ 1.80 per sq ft to install drywall and mud and tape ready for paint. If you room is under 300sqft your looking at $2.40 per sqft
