Wow these pictures are very hard to see, better to take a close picture and as well a picture showing the whole side of the house where the gap is.
Generally speaking, if there is a corner in both side, stucco can have a stop, if not you have 2 choices only! Fix the gap, apply stucco on the spot and then once dry roller paint the whole surface (wall), or fix the gap and apply skim coat cement to the whole wall surface then do a new application of finish coat to the whole surface, If you look at the picture is attached and it have a damage hole in the middle only way is to do new application to the whole surface or patch the spot then roller paint whole surface to have a uniform surface.
