Hello!
We are closing on our new home today (April 15) and moving in after 2 weeks (April 30). We would love to have the following things addressed prior to move in.
The house currently doesn't have a dishwasher, so we need to remove the cabinet between the sink and stove, have an electrician install an independent outlet, have a plumber create the necessary hookups for a dishwasher, and a contractor properly fit the dishwasher into place. We need to have one of the basement windows replaced (yes we already have the window) and our home inspector told us that the other basement window should be reinforced so that the weight of the house isn't resting on the window itself but rather a floor joist. An upstairs window's seal has gone bad so the window has begun to fog, so we need to replace that. We need a handrail installed on the basement stairs. We are interested in having a barn door installed over one of the room entrances (there is currently no door there), and would like to have a screen door installed on the back door to the house. Last but not least we would like to upgrade our entire house from 100amp service to 200 amp service. (also note that we are interested in doing a kitchen remodel in the next 2-3 years).
2 units (up and down duplex), each 2 bedrooms, living and kitchen area.
Currently have: wiring has been upgraded, single power panel, only one outlet per bedroom (not grounded). Power was split onto 2 panels in the past (existing panel for upstairs unit now wired off main power panel).
Want: additional outlet(s) in each bedroom (grounded) of both units, additional grounded outlets in living room (1-2 per unit). Also want to split power panels to allow individual billing for upstairs and downstairs units. Install telephone jack and cable outlet in each room.
Looking for a professional electrician to repair the upstairs bathroom light fixtures. Fixtures are 2 flourescent 3ft-long lights. I have purchaed new bulbs and fixtures but need an electrician to do the new wiring. House built in 1961, so we are dealing with old-standard wiring and plaster walls. I also have LED fixtures as an option (I prefer the LED-type). Pls call as soon as practible. Tx!
• Install wiring and unit for a Google Nest Hello video doorbell. I have attached photographs of the door area and nearest power supply.
• Install a new plug close to the toilet in each bathroom. I have attached photograph that shows layout of each bathroom and closest power source.
• Install a Brondell Swash 1400 round bidet toilet seat in each bathroom.
• Take out the existing Nu-Air HRV and replace with a Vanee ERV 160 CFM 65 SRE with controls. All wiring is in place. The new unit is self-balancing. I have attached photographs.
