We had a leak from our upstairs bathroom. As a result, we need some drywall repair on our first floor ceiling. The insurance company had someone come to tear out the wet drywall and do the immediate work that needed to be done to prevent mould, but now we have 2 holes in our ceiling. One is about 2 ft x 8ft and the other is about 2 ft by 3 ft, as well as a triangular bulkhead that needs to be redrywalled. To complete the job, the textured ceiling on the remainder of the main floor will need to be scrapped. This is an area that is probably roughly 500 sq ft. We also want to ensure that when this is done, furniture will be moved and/or covered to protect everything and that the mess of this job will all be cleaned up! Thanks for your help!
Needing a couple of small projects done. One, I need 2 residential sprinker heads installed in a furnace room (water pipes are obviously there). Nothing fancy, just need 2 heads installed. Second project would be the installation of 5/8 drywall in small crawlspace/electrical panel area (probably no more than 10-12 sheets). No taping or sanding needed, just drywall slapped up.
Remove the old drop ceiling and dispose of it
FIRE RATED drywall on 10 x 10 ceiling (one ceiling light)
Install sound barrier and insulation
Tape and mud all joints to be ready for me to paint.
Require two railings on side of stairs leading from deck to back yard....there are five stairs.
We had a water leak from our kitchen that has damaged the ceiling in our basement. We need the section of ceiling removed, then replace ceiling. Approximately 1 sheet of drywall. Also, several nail holes and cracks in drywall need repair and paint as well as window trim caulk and repaint. Not complicated, but we need work done quickly as the house is sold and we are moving in a couple weeks.
The job involves exterior walls and internal partition wall also the ceiling is a double layer of fireproof drywall. The mechanical room consisting of a furnace and hot water heater area. Will require fireproof drywall as well two layers on the inside and one on the outside. Taping and mudding of all seams, joints and bulkheads is required. All corners will be radiused edges.
We are looking for pricing for some drywall work for one of our Barrie properties currently under construction...
Need pricing for the following:
1) Install insulation and poly
2) Hang drywall (+ resilient channel) - no taping at this stage / drywall is on site
(Please quote separately)
Approx. 1400 sqft bungalow.
Looking to have the work done by first week of January.
Please advise. Thank you.
**Must have current WSIB**
All measurements are in feet.
Living room is 20x15
Dining room is 12x12
Office is 9x10
Family room 15x11
Hallway approx 20 x9
I have scraped the ceiling. I do not want texture again, just flat. My dining room ceiling is in the worst shape. I suspect it needs to be skim coated but the rest are in relatively good condition (I assume some filling and sanding). I will also have some repairs to do in the kitchen.
I have a small bedroom, maybe 12'x11', that has some fairly extensive drywall damage. There are approximately 3 large, approximately 2'x2' areas that have been roughly cut out (I was going to try and patch them myself, but abandoned this idea) and some other smaller areas of damage.
I am in the process of finishing my basement. I need a good drywall tape and mud guy. Basement is 500 sq. ft and has 52 drywall boards. Bathroom, Living room, back room and closet. Ceiling is finished drywall and not stucco. I need the work to be started week of August 13th.
Thanks

We have a two story single dwelling house. The large drain from the two upstairs bathrooms is leaking slightly and needs to be repaired. The leak has damaged a small part of the drywall of the kitchen ceiling over one of the kitchen cupboards
Also when a plumber attends to this project we would like to have them connect the drain of a new laundry room tub.
To make this project worthwhile we also would like have our two upstairs bathrooms painted and possibly install a ceiling fan in the master bathroom and would entertain an estimate on all these projects.
My house is a bungalow and I need drywall put up in just over half of my already framed basement as well as mudding and taping. I also need a sound cancelling ceiling put up. I'm flexible on the ceiling type and material - whatever is cheapest and still does what I need. I have some of the sound proof insulation already. All together there are 2 bedrooms (12' x 13'), a bathroom, a family room (12' x 25') and a 16' hallway. My dad put some of the drywall up already. I'm looking for a quote as well as an expected start and end date.
House in Barrie with second suite in basement.
Firecode and moisture resistant drywall where needed.
Resilient channel to be used in basement ceiling.
Total of 5 bedrooms, 2 kitchens. About 1850 square feet per level. 2 levels.
Full mudding and taping. Smooth finish in ceilings.
Concept drawings available. Full architectural plans due back in the new year.
Anticipate ground breaking in spring of 2021. Drywall work a few months later.
For the moment I need to know how much I should budget for the drywall work, and understand firm estimates are not possible until the full architectural drawings are available. With some budget guidance I can decide whether the project can go forward or needs to be delayed while more money is saved up.
I have a garage that requires insulation and drywalling. It is a two door garage located on Marsellus. The back wall is mostly cinderblock and the front wall has the two garage doors but the rest of it is fairly straight forward with 2 windows and one door to frame around. I was hoping someone could give me an estimate of cost for this type of work.

Hey I am looking to get drywall and a T-Bar ceiling done at a clinic that I am opening up in Innisfil. The work will either need to be on weekends/overnight cause it is already open. Open for quotes - please email me a quote. The side walls and front and back walls are already in place, so it's everything in-between, some rooms will need to be sound proof.
Please text instead of calling.
This is a small job but would like a 'sound proof' partition wall in my very small basement. I'd also like a steel door to help sound reduction (I can get a used door at RESTORE and provide it, to keep costs down.)
I'd like to have the GREENGLUE products and Roxul insulation or Quietrock drywall.. whatever takes up less room, is less expensive and has a good STC.
The wall is about 11 feet long and approx 7 feet tall.
Thank you:-)
Please give quote on the following project. All drywalls are hung, I need to have them taped and mudded ready for painting. 200 linear feet of walls with appoximately 1000 sft of ceiling for California knock down ceiling. Rounded bull nose installed. Very simple L shape room with a powder room in corner. No complicated corners. I also need drywalling the curved ceiling under my 9 step staircase. 2 weeks timeline.
Thanks
We are renovating an older Victorian home that has already had some upgrades, but needs a lot more. The work is as follows:
Plumbing - move shower plumbing in one bathroom, and do tub/sink/toilet installs for two bathrooms. Run plumbing to move washing machine to other side of home. Add lines for dishwasher and fridge with water dispenser in the kitchen.
Electrical - remove electrical from wall that is being removed. Add in about 4-6 electrical outlets, and 2-4 ceiling lights (no existing fixtures boxes)
Insulation and Drywall - install/supply of insulation and drywall for approximately 2500 sq. ft. Of wall space (represents about 1500 sq. ft. Of floor space)
We have purchased a home in Barrie and are thinking about renting out the basement rooms to students. The basement is already finished but we do not know if the windows need to be made larger. We would like to find out if the windows need to get replaced? We also have some other work that needs to be done in the house, ceiling (water damage) and other windows that need to be replaced due to condensation in-between the windows.
We live out town, but we will be there on Tuesday May 31st.
Thank you,
Will & Lisa.
