I need someone to tape, mud, and sand my basement. I have embedded 4 inside and 4 outside corners, but they still need to be finished as well. There are about 16 pieces of drywall in total, so it's a pretty small basement.
Also, we have a portion of ceiling that had to be replaced (about 2 by 6 feet). I attempted to mud it myself, but we'd like a pro to do it right.
This project is in Brampton and ready to go immediately. Please only offer a quote if you are insured, and references and/or pictures of prior work would be a bonus as well.
Thanks,
Sean
Looking to hire a professional taper/mudder/sander to complete the drywalling job in a newly constructed basement approximately 1500 square feet. The basement has only 1 washroom and an open rec. area. The walls and ceiling have been drywalled (5/8" on walls and ceiling) and needs to be taped, mudded and sanded to a smooth finish including the ceiling. The corner beads have also already been installed. Have 2 small kids and am looking for someone to sand quickly, professionally and minimal mess preferably using new cgc mud that drops to the ground. Please provide an online approximate cost and I will contact further.
Live in a condo - plumbing in mechancial room above my unit let loose and experienced "raining" via my light fixture in ceiling of my bathroom which damaged the mirrored doors to my medicine cabinet and flooded carpet and underlay in hallway outside of bathroom. Just wondering what would be recommended in terms of repairs to drywall, carpet to prevent future mould issues etc. Not sure of water path to the carpet - perhaps under tiles in bathroom as some of them seem waterlogged. Plumber cut two large square holes in ceiling - condo will re-drywall those.
Would appreciate an indication if possible from this description as to proper repairs as condo management has advised "contents" is owner's responsibility despite flood being a building issue???
I just bought a home, home inspector didn't see any damage. I wanted to repaint the living room, upon closer inspection on the window sill, I noticed the paint had risen and looked a bit soggy. I pulled the fasting out to see the dry wall was a bit loose looking. I would like to get a quote oh how much the repairs would cost. Phone or email.
