Hi,
I am looking for someone to remove and install a new tile floor. We have the tile already and the space being re-tiled is approximately 375 sq.ft.
Please let me know how much you charge per square foot to install tile? And, when would you be able to do this job. We are located in Burlington, ON.
Thank you
Hello,
I have a bathroom that I need tiles installed, which I have purchased and ran out of time to complete. Walls are prepped with new mould resistant wallboard and base is installed. I have glue and grout also.
Could you please provide cost and timing on installing:
1. Ceramic 6"x36", on 2 walls, approx 125 sq feet
2. Mosaic tiles, std foot sheets, 8' x 7' feature wall.
I need to be completed in next 2 weeks to meet project plan unfortunately.
Thank you for your response,
Elisa
We are looking to have our front entrance and kitchen re-tiled. The job would require the individual/company to remove the existing tile and replace it. We are not having the entire kitchen replaced, just the tile, so the bottom kitchen cabinets would need to be worked around.
The approximate square footage is 250.
Attached are some pictures of the existing tile and also a drawing of the floor plan (inches)
We live in a home that is around 25 years old. We have an approximately 500 square foot area of tile on our main floor, including the entrance, hallways, kitchen, laundry room and powder room. Currently we have ceramic tile in this whole area, which was laid over the original vinyl floor. The current tile is in excellent condition though it is quite old and dated looking. There are no cracks, chipping grout, etc. We are renovating our kitchen and would like the flooring to be removed down to the subfloor, and new porcelain (travertine or limestone look) tiles laid. We can supply the materials, and are looking for a quote on the labour costs or labour plus materials if you can also supply a tile we are happy with. Thank you.
I would like to renovate the modest master bathroom in my condo. Right now it is just painted and trimmed with vinyl flooring; it is 7' 7" x 4' 10" not including the area taken up by the tub. The condo is about 12yrs old.
At minimum I would like the have the vinyl removed and the floor tiled. Depending on cost and looks, I would also think about tiling the walls up to countertop level (I think I prefer this), or to the ceiling, and *perhaps* even replacing the fiberglass tub enclosure with a regular tub and tiled walls. I'd like a new modern light fixture above the sink and maybe have the sink replaced with something more modern also. I would like to keep the current white cupboards and sort-of-taupe marble patterned laminated countertop if at all possible.
One problem is in choosing a colour scheme that goes with the cabinets and countertop, which you can see in the posted photos. Recommendations and sample photos of your previous jobs would be welcome.
In addition to this, I would also like to get my condo balcony tiled. Right now it is just bare concrete with a wooden railing. The owner of the condo below mine has had their balcony tiled and it looks very nice. I was thinking something in a light-coloured, moderately rough slate (non-slippery) would look nice. The balcony is 12' 3" x 6'
