Hi,
Our fence between our and our neighbour's backyard blew down in a windstorm last March and I am only now getting around to trying to fix it.
My Insurance deductible is $1000, so I am trying to decide whether to just fix the one side or to completely replace the whole backyard perimeter, so I require two different estimates.

New house

Hello,
Looking at possibly building a two-car garage with car entry off the alley, with entrance into the backyard via door, completely enclosed, with fencing one side going up to the house (existing fence on the other side, will have to match, pressure treated wood).
Approximately 15x10 for the garage, fence is about 26 feet.
One large lockable 'pullup' door for cars' entry from the alley, one door for backyard entry. No windows, I don't think. Roof. Flooring undetermined- cement?
Currently looking into permits and allowances with the city.
Thank you
N.
I have two gates that need to be repaired/replaced. The first is between two homes from the front to the back of the home. The second connects the back yard to the alleyway (this one is car width as it covers the driveway). Both gates are dragging/sagging and need a new solution (currently wood).
I have a new build property that will need a fence on all sides. I have had it measured already, and the below is what I was quoted based on:
184 Linear Feet
1x Gate
4x6 Posts
5' Height + Lattice
2" Gap with alternating boards
Pressure Treated (not cedar)
There is no pool, and no existing fence. A neighbors small chain link fence (one side) will need to be pulled on one side which is approximately 6 feet long and is sitting in the dirt (not poured into concrete). There is also a tree in the rear of the property which will need to be worked around - I'm told it is not a big deal.
I'm looking to get roughly 8 6x6 posts put in plus a new fence with gate. It can be pressure treated material. Depending on the price we might consider doing an additional 10 posts and material for the rear of the yard. We would like the removal of old fence as well. The style of the fence could be something simple, clean and updated but nothing super fancy. I will attach some pics of the yard and some sample pics.
Hi There
I’d like a quote for removing an old gate and installing a new gate in a different location
Attached is a picture of our existing gate and where we would like the new gate to be as well as some examples that we would be interested in
I would be available for a quote visit anytime if required
Thanks
Mark

Hello,
I need to erect 5 fence posts (with 6" x 6" posts).
1) Looking for a total quote for digging and setting 5 posts with pea gravel base and cement.
2) Also looking for a total quote to dig and set posts only (posts, gravel and cement provided by me).
Thanks.
Greg
My back yard slopes down into another yard. There are railroad ties buried in the soil at the edge of the slope to have a foundation to support the fencing along the property line. They have rotted out and a huge windstorm tore the fencing and some of the ties out of the soil. I wish to just replace these and re-nail the fencing to the ties.
Hi. We have a RISI-Stone 3.5 inch profile retaining wall that we would like to get straightened. This would require the disassembly of the existing wall and prepping the base. The wall is then reassembled. We would also like to get the fence along the wall replaced.
If you're not familiar with the system, no problem -I put it in solo many years ago (younger back then...). I can provide you all the tech info you need to do the work..
The wall varies in height (24 inches at the lowest and approx 40 inches at the tallest). The wall is 135 linear feet.
The fence is 84 feet long. The fence boards are 6 feet tall with the 1 foot lattice above that.
Ideally, this work could start the second week of September, but there is flexibility based on the estimated duration of the project.
Thanks for your interest.
Hello,
We are looking for a significant amount of work done in our backyard. We had a very large deck build around a pool. The deck and pool have been removed, but we have a smaller deck we would also like replaced. Below is all of the work we are looking for:
grade/sod
stump removal
removal and replacement of fence (pressure treated wood, 6in post)
removal and replacement of deck (pressure treated, small deck, large enough to a BBQ, with steps down to a 10x10, as basic as possible)
The pool wall that you see in the photos should be removed today (May 5).
Unfortunately, our fence collapsed yesterday with the wind so we are hoping for something to be done asap.
Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you.
I am looking to have 24ft of wooden fence replaced with 6ft spans instead of the 8ft spans presently in place. I believe, due to wind that 2of the 4x4 posts are close to snapping at ground level straining the integrity of the 24ft. I would request replacing the 4x4with 6x6posts and reusing as much of the existing fence (as it is only 5yrs old,) wood as possible.
Looking for quotes on wooden fencing.
Approx 55 linear feet of pressure treated fencing to installed on my side yard. Desire a 6ft fence (5ft boards, 1ft lattice), with one 42" gate. Would prefer 6x6 posts.
Area is very easy to access, no obstrcutions. May be roots underground as a tree was formerly in this area of the property
The wood fence in the backyard was damaged in the last wind storm. There is about 148 feet of fencing needed 6 feet high with 2 gates. The backyard has an in-ground pool. The new posts would need to be cemented. We would like to buy the material, if possible. The old fence would need to be taken down.
We are planning a very modest budget backyard reno, starting with the fence. My wood fence is about 10 years old. It is pressure-treated pine. Wood still in good shape, with no splitting, etc. however there has been a little settling of the posts, so are a bit askew so need realignment. Other main need is a good power washing, might consider staining.
I have about 50 feet along the back of my property that needs a wood privacy fence. I'm not sharing the cost with my neighbour so only one side needs to be "finished". I'm looking for someone who can do it in the spring (I need to have the grading fixed and a survey done first, but after that we'd like to do the fence right away). Not looking for anything really amazing, just a decent looking fence for a good price.
Requiring fencing between ours and neighbor's property, plus fencing along the side of the property, preferably with gates to access large driveway and gated entrance to side walkway.
This is a large corner lot in downtown Hamilton, we are the owners.
Choice of materials predicated upon cost, however wood is preferred.
