Interlock re-grade and re-install in front sidewalk and patio as well as removal of concrete slabs and install interlock along side of home.
Quote of a deck as well (approx. 120 sq ft) Front sidewalk is shared with neighbour and so that part of quote needs to be separated to allow us to obtain money form neighbour to contribute to that part of the job.
I would like to have patio stones installed to place a hot tub on. Most of the area currently has patio stones but I would like to extend them. I require an additional 100 sq ft (approx 10x10) of stones. The current stones are Trafalgar margaux beige, however I am open to using a different stone.
Hi!
I have an existing flagstone walkway that was not installed properly from beginning.
Before I can erect a fence between the two properties I have to get this walkway fixed.
It is "L" shaped - 20 x 10 and 20 x 6 approximately.
It is presently sitting on a bed of sand & dirt - no gravel.
It was never installed properly from the beginning.
There is an existing retaining wall between the two properties but need to extend it a couple of feet beyond.
There is also a fence next to this retaining wall that is in good condition (installed 12 years ago).
I would like gravel (about 6"), a bed of concrete, then flagstone, then cement the joints (keep joints narrow).
Not sure if wire needed or if screening needed or if weeping tile needed also.
You will need some extra large pieces of flagstone & I also have several smaller pieces of flagstone stored under the back porch.
May need some type of support retaining wall on side facing flower bed/main garden adjacent to existing retaining wall.
The weight of the soil is causing the existing fence to shift into my neighbors yard. Presently has a wood fence across back but will be removed & installing an iron fence (aesthetically more pleasing).
I also have two other smaller areas that need the flagstone either redone or added - down by back gate leading into park & by entrance off concrete patio leading into main yard (grass won't grow here) - half moon shape pad needed.
South west corner wall of house - about 8 rows of break on the corner where the faces broke off due to water freezing needs fixing.
Had energy audit done & found existing fireplace leaking air severely.
Not sure where it is coming from.
Had chimney removed in 2000 due to leak that no one seemed to know where the water was coming in.
Once chimney removed the water stopped.
Had entire outside wall resided as well as roof but not sure how they sealed up the roof.
In the winter the family room is quite cold cause of the air coming in through the top of the mantle & the front side seams where the gas fireplace meets the fireplace brick facing into room.
The fireplace juts into room about 8" & the outside brick wall juts outside about 10".
I also had the entire inside wall re-insulated & new metal studs as well as new drywall.
They never insulated around the gas insert or the inside brick wall.
I had someone put some green insulation down through the top of the mantle which did help lessen the air leak but there is still quite a bit of air coming from the top of the fireplace.
I need to find out where air is coming in & get it sealed off before I can complete the energy audit.
Please let me know when you are available to drop by.
Thanks!
