I am a contractor looking for a drywaller to board mud and tape 2 bathrooms 50sqft each floor space, all new board walls and ceiling. Also have back wall of closet, ceiling in another closet, and patching in doorway in one bedroom. The patches are approx 76 sqft of board all together. Please contact me for further details if wanted.
Hello,
I have a ceiling in a bedroom in a residential home that is leaking, I can't tell if there is a crack in the ceiling, so it may be a roofing issue. I would like to have this fixed. It's not a huge leak but water is coming in. Someone with both drywall experience and roofing experience would be great. Thank you! Free estimate required.
Please see the photo attached.
Need a section of dry wall placed and taped/patched.
Please provide quote.
This is to be placed in a washroom specifically and size can be determined by looking at image and surrounding in the image itself to have a rough idea of size (i.e. see the toilet in the right side of the picture.)
Thanks.
Our kitchen and washroom both have popcorn ceiling. We'd like to know how much it would cost to have it drywalled (mud and taped, possibly painted as well) either right over top of the popcorn or torn off and replaced. Kitchen is roughly 9' x 15'. Washroom is roughly 5.5' x 11'. 1-2 weeks or ASAP.. Thanks!
We had a steel beam installed on the main floor of our house, opening up living, entry, dining and kitchen areas. We need an entirely new ceiling unless you have a creative idea. We also need patchwork to the basement ceiling where a smaller beam was installed and to a few walls. Thank you!
Hi,
1. We had a new wall built to divide a large bedroom into 2 bedrooms. Wall was also build with a door. There was electrical installed on that wall and drywall. I need this all cleaned up, as the person that did the drywall did a horrible job and need to have electrical looked at as well.
2. Outside tape is leaking and may need a new valve or washer.
3. Bathtub is old and has one of those full surrounds from bath-fitters. Need the tub removed and new tub in it's place. If we can keep the surround on the wall, that would be great.
I am looking for someone to drywall, tape and mud my kitchen walls and ceilings.
The ceiling from the kitchen and previous dining room don't match, so I am assuming that having them both drywalled to match will be the easiest and least expensive method. Holes will need to be cut for pot lights to match those prepared by the electrician in the "old" ceilings.
Looking for quotes, small drywall job (approx 240 sq ft)
Basement ceiling in 3 rooms (bathroom, hallway and bedroom) total size of rooms about 240sq ft. Including building a bulkhead to accommodate for ductwork and few pipes. as well as one 13 foot wall with a 6 foot opening (both sides of wall to be drywalled)
Looking for safe and sound in the ceiling, drywall, tape, mud sanding etc to get it ready for primer.
Hi there,
My mom's basement was damaged in a flood. We had it cleaned out and had the bottom 1/4 of the drywall removed.
We are looking at adding drywall back to wear it was cut out.
We are also interested in having the floors coated and installing a waterproof laminate to the landing leading into the basement. The actually basement is about 1000sq feet but 3/4 of the drywall is undamaged. I have a video if you're interested in viewing.
Thank you,
Nav
Hi there,
We are interested in getting someone to come replace a 22 x 22 inch piece of drywall in our apartment building. Right now, there is a large hole near the bottom of the wall and is right beside the phone jack outlet.
To contact me with a request quote price, please email me.

Looking for someone to repair a 22 x 22 inch hole in the drywall of our apartment building preferably before May 1, 2012. The current walls are only painted white, so we we would not require any paint, we can do this ourselves if we choose to later down the road.
Received a former quote of $80 from a previous contractor who no longer has the time to complete the job. Anyone who would be able to do this for around $100 please contact me.
Thanks a lot!
Homeowner is requesting bids for some or all of the following:
1. To repair (cut new drywall to fit, tape/mud, sand) 6 holes made in existing drywall and around 2 light switches in order to replace knob-and-tube wiring and install new outlets. Please see "drywall-repair.pdf" for photos of some of the holes. Homeowner can supply new drywall for cutting to fit.
2. Primer and paint walls, ceilings, and trim in 3 rooms (including inside of closets) and staircase. Please see "floorplan.pdf" for approximate measurements. Note that this is a "half-story" with walls going up to approximately 4 feet and then slanting to the ceiling. Labour and tools only, homeowner will supply primer and paint.
3. Ripping up and disposing of existing carpet in 3 rooms, stairs, and landing.
4. Installing new hardwood floors in 3 rooms (including inside of closets), on landing, and possibly on stairs. Total approximately 300 sq. feet. Homeowner plans to purchase solid hardwood flooring from Breeze Wood. Installation instructions can be accessed here:click here is encouraged to make a site visit before submitting quote.
I am just finishing the drywall installation for a room in my basement. It is approximately 12' X 19'. Four main walls, 2 smaller walls with doors and the ceiling. There is also a bulk head on one wall. Also a small electrical room and a converted cold room. I want someone to do the taping and mud. A pro will do a much better job and much quicker than myself. May also want some other already finished areas smoothed out with some mud. Previous person who did it, was not very good.
To reach some compliance standard I need to change the walls at the landing of my basement stairs. I am the property owner, I only need the easiest materials to achieve compliant fire separation, and the wall height is average for a basement no taller than 7 ft.
At the very least this job would require installing new drywall, taking down some walls, and installing door jams to section off the basement. I recognize that it'll be good to get someone in to see the task for a quote then to do the recommended work. I've left the budget uncertain as I require a quote first.
Thank you for all help.
We recently purchased a century home that has been converted into a duplex. We need some electrical wires moved, some drywall patches and a laminate floor installed. We also need the ceiling repaired, but are not sure if we should dry wall, do a drop ceiling or add some bulkheads. The unit is aprox. 700 square feet. We are located in old north, close to the downtown core.
I had some excavation work done in my basement in June. The contractors put back the drywall on both walls and did one skim coat of mudding. The other two coats have not been finished.
I am currently in the hospital because I broke my ankle badly at the end of June. I have two tenants moving in down there at the end of August and so this job would be a bit of a rush. I am wondering if you would be able to do it for me? If you can call me I can give you instructions on how to access the basement. I would also need it to be painted when you are finished, if possible.
With thanks,
D'vorah
We need a basement framed, dry walled and taped including the ceiling. We are looking for someone who has insurance and will provide references. We would ideally like the framing started in 1-2 weeks if possible. I have a floor plan of the main floor that I could email to give a better idea of the size.
I have several projects that need to be done by a good handyman. Projects include
1) repainting the exterior trim
2) fixing drywall in garage, refilling wholes and finishing with primer
3) fixing two interior doors that are not shutting properly
4) repair deck lighting, that isn’t working currently
I am renovating my upstairs loft bedroom and need a contractor to touch up some drywall and frame in a closet. It's a pretty simple job, shouldn't take more than a day. I am looking to have in done in the next couple of weeks. Please call, or if no answer email me with your info so we can setup an in home quote.
Hi,
I was wondering if someone could provide an estimate for taping and mudding my recently completed drywalling. The following rooms are in need of completed work: living room- dining room- entrance way- stair way and main floor bathroom. The house is not large; the coverage was about 50-60 sheets of drywall. I wondered the forms of payment available as well. Please contact through email and I will respond asap.
Thank you,
Veronica
