Need to freshen up rental property for sale. 2400 sq. foot 2 storey, 4 bedroom 1965 suburban home. This is my first time posting here, just found the site today.
I am looking for a very resonable price to have the interior of my home painted, we bought the paint just never seem to have the time to get it done. Would like to move in the next year or so and need it to be re-painted before listing.
It's a 2 storey 3 bedroom home, the rooms that need to be painted are 2 beds, all of the main floor and downstairs familyroom and computer room with stairway, trim and ceilings.
We have all new doors that just need a coat of paint before we can hang them so would be interested in having them painted as well.
Would like to know how much a project like this would cost, it's approx 1500 sq ft or less. We will start with just an online quote for an approx. price and will decide if this is something we can afford or not and will contact the individuals for an on-site visit from there.
Master bed, and both bathrooms and upstairs hall have already been re-painted so they do not need to be done
If we find a dependable resonable contractor then additional work could come from the painting job, as mentioned we are looking to sell and are interested in getting the most out of the house prior to listing.
Therefore this could go from just a painting job to other odd jobs as well, new flooring -carpet and ceramics, new counter tops and backsplash as well as some outside fixes.
Details of the Property: My home was built in the 70's and it is a three level back split/semi detached home. 1073sf. Exterior of the home is...Some brick with mostly metal siding on the side and vinyl siding on the front. My front porch is approx 5' deep and 8' wide concrete with paint chiping. I also have shutters on either side of my two kitchen windows and my 3 bedroom windows. My backyard is fully fenced in with no lattice work, just 2x4's. My gardens are approx 2' deep and run along the perimeter of my backyard with the exception of where my shed sits. Backyard is approx 35' square not including the 12' running up beside my house that is approx 13' wide.
I am looking for the following quotes independently as depending on finances will dictate how much I can do -
a) paint the fence - currently painted green in good shape - to a colour of my choosing.
b) paint the garden box - currently unpainted 2 or 3 logs high of wood, layed horizontally - to a colour of my choosing.
c) paint my siding around the home - currently cream and in good shape - to a colour of my choosing.
d) paint my shutters on the home - currently maroon - to a colour of my choosing.
e) paint my brick/or stain my brick - currently reddish - to a lighter greyish/whitish tone (must not require maintenance - hense more the stain then paint would be my preference)
f) paint my front porch - currently blue and paint chipping - to a colour of my choosing
g) extend my fence in the backyard to take over more of the driveway - approx 5 to 6' and replace the front gate which is currently approx a 4' swing gate, 4' solid piece, and 4' swing gate to the following... a 6' swing gate, 4' swing door (thus creating a potential opening of 9') and 2' solid piece. This enables my side door to be incorporated into my backyard so I can let my dog out to run versus having to go outside in winter... lastly this should be painted to match the rest of the fence, in the colour of my choosing.
h) extend my fence higher approx 1.5 to 2' using lattice and paint white
i) seal my driveway
Ideally a, b,c,d,f I would like to get done this year.. but as money permits will determine how much I can get done. If there is a savings by combining these items please note it in your quote.

I have some painting that needs to be done in my house. I will require 2 quotes, one for the main area and one for the main area as well as a bedroom.
- Main area is 653 sq ft with 10 to 15 linear feet that will require scaffolding
- Bedroom is 448 sq feet with a cathedral ceiling on one wall
- I will provide the paint, but all other materials must be supplied by you
- No trim needs to be painted
I have a living room/dining room and hallway that needs to be painted. The walls have some holes that require repair as well. I'm also looking for someone that can put together and install a metal gazebo. And i need 3 new bedroom doors, 2 bathroom doors and a linen closet door. I have been requesting quotes for the past few weeks but I've had no responses.
I own a rental property that needs to be fixed up before I put it back on the market. The project is a little more then painting.
1) The upstairs and main floor need to be re-painted.
2) A bedroom door needs to be replaced
3) A side entrance door needs to be replaced
4) A window needs to be replaced (frame and window)
I need to get this done ASAP. I would like to get the house back on the market by the end of November.
I have some rooms that need to be wallpaperered or maybe those textured wall "stickers". Some of the wallpaper needs to be taken down.
I have some rooms that need to be painted white. One of which had wall paper on it (I have removed 95% of said wallpaper but can not get behind the baseboards at the bottom of the wall). The other two have been painted light blue and have sloped ceilings.
There are some baseboards I'd like painted as well.
