Need help decluttering (& some dusting, cleaning). Need some help to pack items into boxes (for things I will be keeping & moving or storing) Also possibly need help to lift and move some boxes and possibly a few pieces of furniture. Some cleaning & minor renovations (eg. some painting may be necessary).
I had renovations done 3 years ago, and a bad job was done on the tiles in the kitchen and bathroom, they are all cracked and coming up. The tiles need to be removed, the sub-floor re-leveled and structured and then re-tiled. the tiles run in the kitchen and then the master bathroom, up the wall around the tub, they all need to be re-done. We also installed and glass cube window in the bathroom, but they never sealed it properly, I think it also needs to be re-done. I would like my hot-water tank changed to a 60 gallon, the bathroom sink changed to a better one, the backsplash finished in the kitchen, a heater installed in the back closet, and some brick closed up with holes to the outside. The back closet floor is also tile and all cracked and I would like that to be removed and re-done. All tiles will become heated floor. I can purchase all major materials. There are a few little jobs with this also, but that's the most of it. I'm looking for quotes and contracts, and am looking to have the work done anywhere before May 2008.
I need the following to be fixed,
Our washroom's lock is jammed. We have purchased an external lock (simple one from walmart) which looksclick here would as well need a similar lock installed for our bedroom. The kitchen racks need to be fixed and a lock needs to be installed too.
A frame has to be installed in our bedroom.
Please let me know your quote.
Thanks,
Hareesh.S
Our bathroom shower area has some grout that has cracked and broken, mostly on the floor but also a bit on the walls. We’d like to have the floor grout removed and replaced with the most durable, waterproof grout possible. We’d also like the damaged grout on the wall replaced. The important thing is that it must be an exact match with the rest of the existing grout in the bathroom, since we don’t want to redo the entire floor. We’d also like the remaining grout cleaned and resealed. We live in downtown Montreal.
We are a property management group, with apartments located in Montreal. Looking for one or more handymen to do fixes of damages, and overall maintenance. Contract can be on going as future work will also be needed.
Looking for someone professional with experience and their own tools. Work is varied, drywall, electrical, plumbing, flooring, (appliance repair if possible). Needs to be able to provide invoices with gst numbers (for taxes).
Looking for someone autonomous, to do unsupervised work, and provide proof of hours and work (pictures via text or email).
If interested please let me know and I can discuss the work further with you.

Hi there!
I have a 800 square foot condo (I own) and need some touching up:
There are several areas on the white walls where there are holes from pics from the previous tenant. Also, have some base boards that were chewed by dogs. Lastly, there is a scrape on the wood flooring that I would like touched up
I look forward to a quote! I can send pics as well and a rough estimate is fine hoping to have someone come in before condo being appraised Mid January
Happy New Year !
Jillian
Hi there, just moved into anew place and need some new IKEA furniture assembled. IKEA's pricing for assembly is fair but they can't service my order until mid-October and I was hoping to get my place setup ASAP. Here are the items that need to be assembled/mounted/etc:
BILLY Bookcase x1
TARVA Bed frame x1
TARVA Nightstand x1
STORNS dining table x1
KAUSTBY Chairs x4
FINTORP Magnetic Knive Rack x1

BRIMNES TV Bench x1
Hi.
We currently have a kitchen cupboard cabinet with 5 adjustable shelves inside. It's not a very useful system as items tend to float to the back and become unreachable and hard to see. We would like to have drawers installed as a solution to this problem.
The space is 15"W x 51"H x 21"D. I figure about five 10" high boxes could fit in there on metal drawer slides.
Thank you.
i currently have a gas stove that cannot be used due to regulations requiring a hood vent. I'm uncertain whether i want to put the duct through the ceilling or towards the side of the building. The hood range will most likely have to be of island type as the wall is made of brick and we want to cover that up with gyproc (in a future renovation) for energy conservation purporse
I am looking for someone to install wood on 2 staircases. The starircases are as follows:
Staircase 1: 3 angled steps + 11 regular steps
Staircase 2: 3 angled steps + 11 regular steps
I would like to use MDF for the risers and have them painted white. All materials including wood, MDF, angled steps have been purchased and will arrive on August 19th.
Please call if you have prior experience with such work.
Thanks

Good evening,
We need someone to install a door at our place. We have the door, the frame, knobs everything. We just want someone to bring the necessary tools to either fix the door with the existing frame or make a grove to install the hinges and fix the door.
Please let us know if you can do this deed, and how much you’d charge for your services.
Thank you,
Nithin
I bought a Nest thermostat (nest.com) and tried to install it myself.
I have a Viconics thermostat and the controller module is a CBE118.
I have an heating system (all electrical) and a heat pump.
I'd like to know if it is possible to make my Nest work with this system. If not what do I need to change?
We are tenants in a new loft-style condo downtown near Place des Arts. We have 20 foot ceilings, and we need a curtain rod installed. The curtains are 15 feet long, so the rod will need to be installed around that height (you'll need a telescopic ladder or something similar). I am able to install curtain rods but we don't have a large ladder to install the rod with. This will probably take you less than an hour.
This is a semi detached cottage in ville Saint Laurent that needs renovation before putting it on sale. The house has been rented for many years and the kitchen counter needs to be replace. The vinyl floor of this small kitchen needs to be replaced with tiles. Also the floor of the living area needs to be sanded and polished. The interior of the whole house needs a paint job.
This needs to be completed by the end of August.
Hello! I have three jobs on a small condo bathroom:
1) Installation of a fixed towel rack (about 2 feet)
2) Replacement of a shower tube and head
3) Removal of shower splashguard and installation of fixed curtain rod (the rod is just under 5 feet)
I'm the owner of the condo unit. I'll take your recommendations on type of material. I do not have any of the materials myself.
Nick
I need a handyman to help me finish some minor details of my home renovations. Tasks include:
Installing bifold doors
Installing two light fixtures in the kitchen (fishing the wires etc)
Fixing one of my electrical outlets (I did something wrong!)
Installing the floor moldings in my kitchen
Installing a tube from my AC unit to direct the water flow downstairs
1. My chimney was leaking over the winter/summer and there's some discolouration on the interior walls just below. It will probably need to be opened up and the wood and plaster will need to be repaired.
2. My bathroom sink is cracked and the whole piece of porcelain needs to be replaced and reinstalled.
3. The pipes that run into the kitchen are not properly insulated and the pipes froze last year. The wall will have to be opened up to see where they problem is exactly. This is a problem for all three floors of the triplex I live in.
4. Broken doorbell
I want to mount 3 wall mount brackets.
1st bracket: 3-holes - with a 3x 1.5" screws (I have them) which will hold a projector - the mount screws should go all the way to the stud
2nd and 3rd brackets - 2-hole on each bracket with 2x 1" screws - same way, should go all the way to the sud behind drywall. This will hold a projector screen.
Total 7 screws. on 3 little wall mounting brackets.
I own 2 buildings. Small ones. Fourplexes. I don't have the time to o all that is required so I think a reliable, competent and friendly Hamdyman could help me out.
My budget is not very big but I'm obviously okay to pay fair money for good work done.
Drop me a line if interested. French speaking a definite plus.
Would be starting soon since i already have a few things to be done (minor dents like: patching holes in a sink, repaint a repaired wall, up to repair a exterior door window).
