I'm looking for a contracter to do plastering and painting in my entire appartment. It's approximetly 1175 square feet with high ceilings (at least 10 feet). It's two bedrooms, a large open space dining and living room area, a bathroom and a kitchen. There are some cracks throughout the appartement, especially in the bathroom and kitchen. The appartment is currently several colors, we would like to make everything off white.
My apartment is one of six condo units in the Plateau. It was renovated in 2001. Over time various cracks have appeared in the plaster, some severe, particularly on some of the ceiling molding. I would like moldings repaired and maintained. The whole apartment needs painting. It is five and a half rooms.
Kitchen: 11.1 x 7.9 ft Living/Dining Rom: 20.3 x 14.5 ft
Master Bedroom (Double): 23.0 x 9.6 ft Bedroom: 10.1 x 8.9 ft
Hallway: 16.0 x 4.0 ft Small bathroom and small walk in closet
Ceiling Height: 9.5 ft
I am the owner-occupier of the apartment.

Looking for quote to repaint the dining room and hallway of an old Montreal apartment (Location: H2W2E6). Requires experienced painter to paint around original mouldings—which will remain the original colour (Benjamin Moore Dove White).
Job involves two colours: one for dining room and one for adjoining hallways. Walls, no ceiling. Preference is to use Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore paint.
It’ll be a fun job that’ll take a day or less. I’m a young guy starting out with my first home, so I am on a tight budget. Can work around a day and time of your choice.
Reference photos attached. I’m happy to provide any follow-up pictures that would be helpful for you.
Thanks!
Chris
Hi there,
We've taken possession of a new building in Laval (Laval des Rapides) with 4 units and there are certain fixes/improvements we'd like to have done (caulking, painting, window sills, etc.).
We've documented in the attached PDF all the work required and we'd appreciate if you could provide us with an estimate for performing these.
We are installing a geo-thermal heating and cooling system. Once it's done, some of the ceilings in our basement will be open, so we need to hire someone for drywall, painting, and there will be a modification of a door and doorway, and carpentry to modify a (floating) engineered wood floor/step down.
I estimate 3 days of work, but that is just a guess.
Owners of Duplex looking to renovate:
Ground Floor Unit (~1100 sq ft): floors, painting, redo stairs to basement, layout change (knock down wall), new large window
Second Floor Unit (~1000 sq ft): floors, painting, kitchen, bathroom, layout change (knock down wall), new windows
Basement: Exterior door change
I have a one bed room condo near Univeristy of Montreal, total space : 500 sq ft, built in 1940. I would like to have a few things done before August 15th: repaint the condo, resand the hardwood floor, change the electric wiring in two places, install a new vanity. You can also just do one item in this list. My budget is around $5,000 to $10,000 . Please contact me ASAP. Thank you.
We plan to do the basic paintings for all the inside walls. tiny repair for the outside wall.
Renovate the washroon upstairs, sanding the floor forward with paintings.
Think of transforming the heating from oil to electricity
Do the French drain in August after moved in.
Packing space
Maybe an extension in the future
Need someone with experience, ASAP, to lightly sand, then Paint my inside
Stairwell.
There are currently Rubber Treads that can be removed by Hand.
I will purchase Brand New Rubber Treads, to be applied, where old ones were, therefore, it is not necessary to Paint the entire Stairwell, only the sides & the part of the Step that is Visible, (small area, to left of, & right of Rubber tread. Would be interested in getting some Estimates (if you are able to start soon, eg. immediately or starting soon. I don't have a problem paying Cash.
Budget: $300. - $600. (with a little flexibility).
ALSO, Need Small Backsplash done behind Bathroom Sink (& below bathroom mirror). Area is approx. 24" wide, by approx. 10"-12" in Height.
Have purchased a condo in Le Beaumont on Cote St. Luc Road with exposed concrete ceilings. Would like a more traditional look and would like to have ceilings skim-coated and painted. Condo has some drywall ceilings that will not need to be touched. Will only take possession in November or early December and would like work done when not occupied. Want all surfaces protected, especially new hardwood floors.Condo is large, 2200 sq feet. But bathrooms, kitchen and other spaces will have drywall ceilings. Unable to provide exact square footage.
Hello,
I recently moved into a small little apartment in Old Port, which needs a fresh new coat of white paint. My unit is a small 545 square foot space, but I am only looking to freshen up the living room and bedroom areas only. No bathrooms or Kitchen area necessary. Those have been kept in good condition.
Was hoping to get a sense of pricing/quote option for a quick job like this! The paint has already been purchased - 4 gallons worth.
Cheers,
Max

Hi, we are moving as renters into a 7 (~9 ft ceilings) around 960 ft2 on May 2. We have access for painting from April 15. Last tenants were smokers and there is a tobacco smell, but no visible staining, although the place definitely needs a quick paint job.
We are looking for a quote including:
1. cleaning of all walls and ceilings with TSP, especially front room (heaviest tobacco smell) and kitchen (a bit greasy).
2. painting of walls and ceilings with a good latex paint, probably just one coat in most rooms and two coats in a couple of rooms. The existing paint is an off-white and we would select an off-white that is quite close.
