Deck construction.
I am the home owner.
Existing deck is 9' X 10'.
I would like to come down 3 steps and build around the existing deck. There would be 3-4 more steps to the ground.
The addition would be 12' X 26' X 21' X 16'.
The flooring will be composite and the railings glass.
6" x 6" posts and 2" x 10" joists and cement are on site.
I am open to suggestions.
The site is in the Grandora area.
I am looking to have the deck completed by June 7th.
Thanks, K
My Mother lives on Forsyth Crescent backing on the lake. Her current raised deck (second story over a walkout basement) has heaved ( the piles have pushed up out of the ground) and the surface (covered with Duradeck) is damaged and rotted. Water is now collecting on the side of the house and causing internal water damage.
At minimum I need somone to level the deck, remove and replace the surface, and explore solutions to prevent reaccurance in the future. One solution may be to replace the paving stone patio under the deck with solid concrete patio so water does not get under the piles and freeze which is causing the heaving.
Deck is approx 15" x 30" . Paving stone patio below it is about the same size.
We need a new back deck built. We want takedown of the old one (attached to back of bi-level house). We want a new lower deck built; we need stairs off the back door down to the lower deck. We are not 100% sure on the size but likely around 20ft x 15ft.
I run a daycare so would really like the whole project to be completed as quickly as possible.
My house is 6 month old new house in Willowgrove. The deck will be done this summer.
Size: 16' x12', height: around 4'.
Support: mounted on the wall, and posts stand on concreted piles.
materials: Pressure treated lumber. Rails are better used white pickets. Lattice cover under part.
I want to add an 8' x 10' porch onto my house. My current door is at ground level and there is a smaller cement pad in front of the door. The porch would be wood with white vinyl siding and a galvalume roof. It does not need to be insulated or finished inside. It would have one door and one window. I need the quote to include the piles. My house is 50 years old.
Removal of a 8ft by 32 ft across the front and 8 ft by 26 ft on adjoining East side. Stairs (approx 9 steps) at one end. Install new deck same size with 30 inch high railing ( 2 x 4's ok) around the perimeter of deck and new stairs. 2 x 6's for joists, 2 x 8's min for outside beams and min 5/8 marine / moisture resistant plywood for deck surface. Present cement deck base supports for 4 x 4's supports can be reused. Power onsite, ample open space to work around.
Time frame... early May to June 30th/12

Hello,
We are looking at building a fairly simple deck, and are just figuring out what it would cost to get it built. It will be approximately 20' wide x 10' deep, with most of the deck at 28" high and a 3' square landing at 35" high for the door, with the long outer edge predominantly stair.
Thank you for your time,
Paul
Had a deck re-cover scheduled for today. I started removing the existing cover and found carpenter ants had destroyed the top sill joists. These have to be replaced. Need an estimate and work completed as soon as possible so we can close in our deck and get it refinished again before winter gets here.
Please contact me by phone to arrange a look and provide an estimate.
Thanks.
