I am looking for someone to level my mobile home. I had it leveled last year, but was absent when it was done and came home to find it was not any better. There is a definate sland noticeable in the kitchen that has caused the tiles to crack but it was that way when I bought it and has not worsened. I have removed the skirting on each side for easier access. Must have experience and references.
We are looking to have some dirt and concrete removed to increase the size of a parking pad at the rear of our home. Parking pad dirt would be approximately 34 feet by 2 feet h igh by 3 feet wide.
We also require the clean up of a 40 foot expanse where new fencing will be placed.
Preference would be to have the work done mid next week as we wish to buld the fence on the 16th of June.
Hello
I have a 1075 SqFt Bangalore in Calgary and looking to extend the front side
The right window is the bedroom and the left is the living room. How far out can I go? What are the permits required by law to be legal and what would the cost be? Would I need to replace the roof? Would we need to dig way deep? What is the process needed for such a project?
We would like to price out the cost of full walkways from sidewalk to front door to side door to parking space. Also a large stone patio in the back yard. I need a new parking space "built" for an RV as the current spot is too short and too wide. We'd also like matching stone flowerbeds in both the front and back yards. We have sketched our own rough idea but would like to discuss options and feasiblity with the landscapers prior to settling on a final plan. We are not looking to win any awards here or have our yard in magazines. But a nice, finished upgrade from the hodgepodge landscaping currently in place would be desirable.
We are looking to make some repairs to the deck that we had built last year. The contractor who built it is no longer around.
In addition to the deck we'd like to add a pergola, skirting, deck railing and flower beds. We have a large wedding reception in July 19th so the work would HAVE to be complete by then.
Need to have our retaining wall adjacent to back alley replaced. The current retaining wall is approximately 3 x 26 feet made of cinder blocks with an old chain link fence on top of it. The fence will be replaced as well but doesn’t have to be part of the project. The alley is higher than the yard.
We are open to different materials options e.g. concrete, wood, cinder blocks.
We have a retaining wall that runs the length of the lot along the WEST side of the Property. The current retaining wall is built from wood railroad ties and is heaving badly. This is my rental property and I own both sides of the duplex (east and west). If you are able to provide a quote as soon as possible this would be most appreciated.
Backyard size is 14' x 20'
replace fence on all 3 sides plus gate
remove grass and trees and replace with new SOD ( new sod area will be 14' x 10' )
Remove existing concrete pavers ( Approx. 8' x 8' )
install new concrete paver patio on grade Approx. 12' x 10'
Sub grade prep
materials wanted:
Fence ( cedar )
Concrete pavers ( black 17.5' x 17.5' ) open to suggestions
was going to do it myself but decided not to. as you can see in the pics
Undeveloped back yard. On slope in Rocky Ridge. Would like to tier the back yard with a retaining wall - not a big back yard - there is currently a retaining wall about 30 feet away from the house that was put in place by the builders. would like to build another about 20 feet from the house to have 2 levels from the walk-out basement. Currently there is a walkout deck on the main floor.
I have a retaining wall that is beginning to buckle. It is about 25 years old made from older landscape bricks. About 4 ft. high and 60' long. Looking for somebody to rebuilt it without cutting into the back lawn too much. Would also consider building another wall in front of it if possible to retain the older wall. Located close to center street and 64 ave nw. I can send pics if you send me your email.
We have a retaining wall holding up our backyard from falling into the alley. This wall is about 30 years old, is developing a lean and needs to be replaced. Since it is about 4 feet tall, it will need to be designed by an engineer and approved by the city prior to going ahead with it. In addition to replacing the wall, we would be replacing the fence in the backyard, some of which (used to) stand on the wall, so it would need to be incorporated into the design.
I had been planning on getting the engineering part done, and then getting quotes, but I'm not very good at being my own general contractor. So, at this point I guess that I am looking for a general contractor who would be able to coordinate getting the engineering work done, the permit from the city, and either doing or coordinating the retaining wall and fence build.
I understand that the cost of the overall project would be somewhat dependant on the engineering piece, so am not looking for a total quote. Maybe an initial quote on a project management agreement, or hourly rate for general contracting would be a good starting place.
Thanks,
Ben
Looking to finish our rock garden. we spent 3000 already but still unfinished. we tried doing it ourselves and we know how hard it is. we had a friend who is a landscaper but he moved to ontario. we did it properly but it wasn't thick enough. looking for someone to finish it for us. and you have any more ideas just to make it weed free and simple design. we would like a few junipers here and there.
Hi. I am looking to have some landscaping done. I have two acres in Springbank and a large pond. We have some sandstone around our pond already but would like some more added. I would also like a trench dug down where we have water flowing through our yard sometimes and I would like this filled with pond liner and rock.
Existing side yard is sod covered (52' X 8 1/2')
Project details:
- strip sod and conserve for reuse
- strip topsoil and stock pile
- prepare perennial border beds to adequate depth (6" - 8")
- supply and install landscaping fabric
- replace topsoil in border beds
- supply and install washed pea gravel (approximately 2") to walking pathway
- supply and install one large and two medium feature rocks (500 - 1000lb)
- haul away and dispose of surplus materials
I am looking for a small landscape company to reconture the drainage beside our home. After a heavy rain downfall (light rain is not a problem) the water pools beside a section of our home and then leaks into our basement. We think we require reconturing of the soil beside this section of the house to create more effective drainage away from the house.
I need a cost estimate (with separate labour and materials cost) to complete the following front yard work:
- Remove partially dead juniper shrub and roots under the right side of front window.
- Deliver, grade, and level screened topsoil, outside of red shale area
- Deliver and install new sod (approx. 12’ x 10’ oval), outside of red shale area
- Leave the existing tree, red shale, shale rock edge, and concrete address post in place (globe cedar and other remaining plants in the picture will be removed by homeowner)
need to excavate (bob cat or small excavator) and haul about 3.5 -4 cu m3 of soil from a back yard located at 63 Huntford road NE (located near 68 Ave & Centre street). Topsoil has grass / weed cover.Subsoil clay & some gravel.
Access via back lane with 8 ft wide gate.Remaining area after excavation approx.12 ft x 24 ft needs to be sloped /graded from base of fence to lawn elevation of 2 ft. Need price and accurate schedule ASAP. Can call me to visit site if needed.
Thanks
I have a 50' by 120' lot with a large landscaped yard. I would like the beds cleared (most plants removed, bushes left) and lined with landscape fabric in the beds around the perimeter and the front. If required have them edged with basic edging. Other than that it just need a good spring clean up.
We just recently moved into a house with a bunch of raised garden beds along the perimeter and in some cases against the house. The raised garden beds are constructed with a landscape retaining wall block. The blocks do not look like they were installed properly and consequently the walls are falling down. We'd like to remove all of the raised beds and start with a fresh lawn. We've already started the project but I think we'll run out of time doing it on our own before the cooler weather comes.
We would like quotes on removing the beds and restoring the lawn to a proper grade. We would retain the block materials for resale or you could take them for credit against the work (there are probably 1000 to 2000 blocks).
There is roughly 225 linear feet of raised garden bed walls stacked anywhere from 2-4 blocks high that needs to be removed. Please contact us to arrange a site visit so that you can provide us with an accurate quote for your services. The photos provided are of the backyard only.
