Our house needs help. Built in 2003, we are still trying to complete our basement, and we have an insurance claim for redoing our rooof. The basement is partially finished with floating studs for walls and a 1 peice shower in the bathroom that is not plummed in. We need help with the plumbing of the shower, toilet, and sink, and to help finish the framing properly around the tub. Our roof has been appraised by an insurance company for replacement.
House is located in Copperfield in the Southeast, and would like to start this project fairly quickly.
I am available all day on tuesday for someone to come by and see the place.
When we went to replace ceiling fixture in bedroom, noticed rust on light fixture and slight water damage on ceiling, so it appears water has leaked in from somewhere. Ceiling material is soft and weak, therefore we cannot install a new light. Water stain appears old. Shingles were replaced 4 years ago, however we have had roof repaired in similar area recently as well.
I need an estimate on winterizing my old wooden windows. The cold air comes in and I know that replacing all of them is a major overhaul and I wondered if there is something that could be done to "winterize" them for the winter and I would replace them later on next Spring/Summer. Also my roof needs repair, but I am waiting to see if my insurance will cover the damage done by the hail we have had in this area over the past month or so. I am just looking for estimates right now. I don't know how much replacing windows would cost, but I am sure it is in the thousands, same for the roof. Thank you.
The roof is in a serious state of repair, with leaks through all the vents. It is an older home and I am renting it out to tenants. I am not willing to spend too much as it isn't worth it. Just wondering if there was a way to seal the roof and replace the vents so that it doesn't leak. It doesn't have to look good, it just needs to function as a roof.
We need to replace the roof of the garage and small townhouse in Northmount, Calgary
It has to be done as soon as possible, to start immediately, and needs to be completed by Sunday this week.
We will pay in cash, not through insurance.
We only need you to be able to provide warranty for your work.
Please call anyone even late at night or early morning.
Thanks!
We are considering to buy a house: 2 storey, 597.40 square feet in the main floor and attached to another house on one side.
We need to have an estimate of the cost of roofing (it has asphalt shingles now) and siding (stucco now) in case the inspector tell us we need to change one of them (or both).
We would like an approximate price for changing the roof and for siding, separately.
Regarding the siding we were thinking about stucco again or bricks. Could you include both prices? For the roof asphalt shingles would be OK unless you have another suggestion.
On one side the house is attached to another house but it is still about one metre higher so that wall is small but also needs to be included. The house is quite regular, like a cube, so the upper floor is exactly the same area as the main floor.
It has a gable roof with a mild slope. There is no garage.
This is an estimate so I will not ask for constructors to go to the project site because actually we have not bought the house yet.
Thank you.
Gloria

I have recently had a lot of work done on the interior of the house, which triggered some activity on my roof. The outcome is that two independent contractors have told me I need a new roof. The down-side is that I had the roof replaced just over five years ago. I bought this house six years ago, so being a new home-owner, I didn't understand the due diligence required in making such a change. I simply relied on a reference from a friend, and didn't obtain multiple quotes. I also blindly relied on the expertise of the contractors doing the work, as this is not my area of specialty. I am now paying the price for my naivety.
I don't know if I will actually sue the original contractors, but my project looks like this. I would like a reputable roof expert to review the original quote and confirm that the shingles are NOT 20-year shingles (as sold), and the work described was not actually performed. I would then like a quote and timeline on replacing the roof properly.
My house is 744 square feet, so the roof is not large or terribly steep. I have climbed up there many times myself.
Window company looking to partner with Siding, Roofing, and other Exterior Renovation companies that provide excellent quality and service to provide more options for our customers.
We have a large database of past satisfied customers and are in front of many new customers every year that could use your services.
We are not looking to get into the siding, roofing, eaves, soffit, or fascia business ourselves as we would prefer to focus on our core area of expertise - Windows and Doors. We get a lot of requests for quality trades to perform work for our customers so we would like to find a few great complimentary business partners that we can work with moving forward.
We share the same target customers as you do and can work together to help each other better service our own customers while increasing revenues.
Thank you for taking the time to read this request,
Adam
