I am looking for a contractor to give me an estimate in person on how much it would cost to add an addition to my mobile home. I am located in Edmonton, Alberta. I am in the process of getting approved for financing and was asked for an estimate on the cost of the project.
I am looking to extend the mobile home out to the same width as the add on in the first picture but starting from the front all the way to the back so the add on is all one piece and its the same width from the front to back. Also I would like to bring it up more in the front of the mobile home as it sits really far back on the front lawn. Please contact me if you are interested in helping me with this. Thank you and have a great day!

Hi, I need help with some drawings for my addition in Old Beverly Edmonton. I want to build two storey above ground on screw piles. I need an engineer to give me pile points for my project. I have the layout plan, It is 18' x 28' small job. I also have a roof and floor plan. Can anyone help us?
Thanks,
Robert.
We have a small 890 sq foot bungalow that we are wanting to add space to. We were considering adding a second story and/or just increasing the pitch of the roof (plus or minus dormers) to allow for the creation of the extra space. Additionally, depending on the cost, we would like to have a mud room added to the main floor of the house.
The siding might have to be redone (possibly as part of this project). Also the hardwood floors may also have to be redone, again this may be included in this project or not, depending on cost.
I Need to put together a budget to a 2nd floor addition to an existing 1200 sq/ft bungalow in Edmonton, Alberta. I'm looking for rough material and labor costs.
I'm looking for a rough cost for labour and material to remove the existing roof, and frame the new structure.
Thank you in advance.
Looking to build a second story to our 1400 square foot bungalow with attached garage.
The approx square footage of the second story will be 1300. I believe the house was built in 1985. We are wanting to know what the cost per square footage would be and if it is better to go with modular or with a framer.
We are adding a second story, building permit is in place. Looking for someone to demo roof and frame second story with roof. Plans for floor joist and trusses are already submitted just need to be ordered.
We also would like a contractor as well with experience we can hire out for giving us the guidelines we will need to start and finish our project.
Please email if interested in looking at plans.
My husband and I are wanting to add a second story to our 1100 sq ft bungalow. On that second level we would need 1.5 baths and 4 bedrooms. Included in the renovation would be moving, and upgrading the electrical panel, and also upgrading our furnace.
Thanks in advance for your help!
We are thinking about adding a second story to our 940 sq ft bungalow in Edmonton, AB. We would like to have 4 bedrooms on the second floor with a full bathroom, as well as an ensuite off the master. We thought about a cantilever to increase the square footage up there. We would also like to open up the living/dining/kitchen area on the main floor (open concept) taking out as many interior walls as possible.
It is a 1975 by-level house 1100sqf. Intent is to add one more level/story on top. Addition will be aranged with tree kids bedrooms and a master bedroom, one en-suite bathroom and second bathroom.Existing level to be reconfigured in conecting the existing two bedrooms into one large dining area.
Looking for a budget for building a second story for 2 live work apartments on top of an existing 33x110' concrete block building. Glass on both 33' ends. Interior staircase and possibly accommodation for a rooftop deck on the single story. (20x15ft) at this point I am just exploring if I will be able to afford it. if so I will start the process of getting the development permits and plans.
I am trying to find a contractor who has experience adding an addition to a Mobile Home. If you have experience in this area, please contact me to discuss the renovations needed in more detail. If you want to discuss further, please email me as I can send pictures and an exterior blueprint and discuss renos needed to the interior or please call my husband Shaun.
Thank you
Build approximately 18 by 6 foot addition to the end of my garage. One exterior window and one exterior door and a regular doorway between the addition and the garage. the attachments show the property and the proposed addition......The existing garage exterior is stucco so i would want addition to be the same and have it all painted to match.
First project, Master bedroom addition currently existing two car garage. Includes master bath and walk in closet. Reuse as much of existing material as possible, such as existing roof.
Second project, second floor addition. my house is a split level, one side has two levels the other side, the living room and kitchen side are bungalow-like. I would like to add a second level over the kitchen and living area. the living area remains living room but with high ceilings but add a bedroom above the kitchen that will be same level with the currently existing bedrooms.
Project three, Addition to living room by extending it on the front of the house. This is about 6 *10 ft extension. The extension will enable the existing garage door to be inside the house rather than where it is currently, outside the main house. Good to have lots of light in this room so many large windows will be good.
1100 sq ft bungalow built in the 60's. Planning add one story on top without demolishing whole house. Possible some extension around the house (6'x20'). First floor interior will be totally renovated; only keep one bed room and one bathroom at first floor, adding three more at second floor. Basement also will be totally re-design and renovate. One full bathroom and one half bathroom at second floor.
Project will early next year,
Location: south west edmonoton
I am looking around to get some quotes on building an addition to the upstairs of my house. I am looking to add a bath (or half bath) with stackable laundry on the second floor of my 1952 house. We have a new stack recently installed that we are hoping to tie into. Potentially also a small walk-in closet if space allows.
Want to add a second story to a house built in 1949, existing roof is an inverted a frame. Roof on second story to be a hip roof. Back wall needs repair due to water damage. Also have an existing attached garage that needs a different roof, a slopping roof under the eves of hip roof and be made into a family room.
