We have all the travertine tiles for the job. They are 4 different sizes and are to be laid out in a pattern that we have. The existing walls are unpainted drywall. The backsplash is to go from the countertop to the ceiling. There are 2 big windows that will be trimmed in tile moulding. There is a modern big stainless steel exhaust fan that you will have to remove for the tilling and then re install. We also have 5 or 6 tile medallions that will go on the wall in various spots. This is a very specific and time consuming project. Text or email only please
I have a rather small kitchen i'd like to add a backsplash too.
I have picked up some subway tile (6x3) and by my estimates it should take approx 250 of these tiles, if that can in some way put in perspective the size of the kitchen. Install and grout. I can send pictures upon request.
Hello,
We have a one bedroom condo, 760 square feet, that was built in 2006. We would please like an estimate for two projects:
i) Our kitchen counter is made of arborite (dark in colour) and is showing many signs of wear and tear and even damage from cuts and burn marks. The entire kitchen is 9' 6" by 12' 2" and the countertop measures *approximately* 55 square feet. We are interested in receiving an estimate to replace this.
ii) We also have a 81 square foot balcony in which the floor is comprised of a vinyl-type material (as, for example, a cigarette burn will do permanent damage). We are also looking for a rough estimate on how much it would be to replace this flooring.
We are in need of an install to be completed on our kitchen. The measurements are 16x12.5 feet. The floor is uneven due to lack of previous flooring laid where cabinets were. There will be no cabinets, baseboards, or furniture at the time of the install. We are looking for an install to be completed ASAP.
Relatively easy job (not easy for me). It is a two phase job.
Phase 1: need someone to come in to demo out the existing kitchen backsplash behind the stove and a strip between the levels of the two-tiered island and repair the walls. I need this done before July 21 because I have Reface Magic coming in July 21-23 to reface the cabinets and replace the countertops.
Phase 2: after the main renovations are completed, I need someone to return to install the tiles. I haven’t picked the tiles yet (leaning glass mosaic) but I will have them ready for you. Timing is flexible anytime after from July 24 onwards.
Don’t let the estimated budget scare you, I could go over $1,000 if necessary
We have a large Kitchen/ Back Entrance/ Bathroom area (approx. 300 sq. ft.) in our 11 year old house that needs to have the linoleum ripped up and replaced with ceramic tile. We'd also like to have the front entrance (approx. 10 sq. ft) done at the same time. Both areas will have the existing baseboards removed prior to installation.
You rip out vinyl and screw in the floor on the main level hall, bathroom, living, dining and kitchen areas
You supply and install 3/8" subfloor and screw in on rear entry and stairs
You supply and install vinyl stair nosings - 3 lengths, and tile edging - 1 length
You install tile on stairs
You install tiles on main level hall, bathroom, dinning and kitchen areas and rear entry
You install tiles on toe kicks in kitchen and bathroom
I will supply mortar and grout
I will supply 12" x 24" or 6" x 24" tiles
Hi,
I have a roughed-in bathroom in my basement that we would like to finish. My house was built in 1994. While we finish that bathroom, we would like to replace the linoleum in our kitchen, entryway, and two upstairs bathrooms to match the flooring that will go in the downstairs bathroom. We are thinking of using the vinyl flooring that looks like tile/stone.
In the bathroom, we want a sink and toilet (obviously), and at least a shower stall, but we may have enough room for a bathtub as well. We are open to suggestions as to the best materials to use.
I realize that you will probably need to come see the spaces so that you can provide an accurate estimate; this shouldn't be a problem.
Would like quartz tile (6x24" tiles already chosen from Home Depot) to be put up above a 3-sided fireplace up to the ceiling.
- 71 square feet
- It is in a condo unit. There is a balcony where tile can be cut, and an elevator. No disposal or take-down of previous tile needed.
- looking for quote on labor cost; we will buy tile
We have damaged hardwood under our toilet in our main floor bathroom. We would like this to be removed up to the doorway and replaced with tile. It is a approx 4 foot by 4 foot room. There is no vanity, just a removable pedestal under the sink. We are unsure how to go about transitioning from the tile to the remaining hardwood.
Thanks
During a recent renovation stone tiles which form the baseboard on several corners and walls in the entrance hall and living room were torn off and never replaced. As they match the tiles on the floor they need to be cleaned (cement removed) before being reattached to the new walls. A few tiles will need new cuts.
Tile floor in shower room was recently completed and it wasn't slopped correctly to allow any water on floor to drain into floor drain. It will need to be redone. We would also like to add two threshold to of the shower stalls.
The room has 4 shower stalls and is approximately 110 ft2.
Preferred light grey non-slip tiles
We are a non-profit housing facility with 21 residents. There will need to be a plan to complete the work in a short timeframe to ensure the least disruptive loss of the shower room.
I need someone to replace some laminate flooring in my livingroom (its in a corner, and I have the replacement boards - I think about 3 will do it), and do some tile replacement in the bathroom (I will also have the materials).
Not a big job, but I don't have the tools.
2 unrelated issues:
1) Large dip and pinch point in subfloor on 2nd floor hallway. Would like quote to pull up carpet and sub floor to review joists to see what is causing the issue. And then repair whatever the problem is.
2) Walk in tiled shower leaks. Tiled curb is not sloped properly and needs to be re-done. Not sure if there are any other issues contributing to the leak.
Install of floor ceramic tile, with 1/4" wonderboard, in 2 small bathrooms, an entrance, kitchen and laundry room.
Laminate flooring and underlay in 2 bedrooms and living room. Replace base board.
Majority of work, except finishing touches, must be done between Aug. 19 and Aug 24.
the work is in a 2 bedroom/ 2bath condo
Hi There,
I have a small tile flooring project requires a contractor to complete.
Basically, I layed 30% of a 200 sq feet area before I got hurt. The sub-flooring is already in place and all material (Tile, epoxy, grout and sealer) has been purchased. I require a contractor to finish the laying of tile, put grout and sealer on.
Thanks
Paul
I have 13x13 tiles (townhouse built in 2010) in kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms and the entryway. Probably about 275sf total.
I need this removed to have a level surface to lay LVP flooring. There is currently a laminate floating floor in the living room that is lower than the tile in the kitchen. I do not want to raise the other flooring due to only having 8 foot ceiling height.
How much would it cost for the tile removal?
1/8" Ditra mat (or equivalent), and 12" x 24" tile / grout installation over a 3/4" diagonal plank subfloor + 1/2" plywood in a 1959 bungalow. Areas include the front entrance, hallway, kitchen and back entrance (including 3 stairs), which is approximately 250 sq.ft. of area. See hatched area in attached main floor plan.
Kitchen cabinets and island are installed. I have some minor items to take care of this weekend (July 1st weekend), but tile will be ready to start after this long weekend.
Tile and grout are already purchased.
Provide ditra mat material and installation as a separate line item.

Hi there,
I am planning to renovate my main floor which is 700 square feet. I would like the floors to be all tile and heated. I will be purchasing the tiles myself. I would like a quote on the install of tiles and heated flooring install. Could I also get a description of what you would be doing and how long a job like this takes?
Thank you
