We own several rental properties in Spruce Grove and require some basic handyman services at these locations; specifically, the following work must be done:
* repairing damage to a deck gate
* replacing anode in a hot water tank
* installing a shower riser and new taps on a clawfoot tub
* install fan in bathroom
* remove old water tank and install new tank in one property
* renovate downspout to prevent freezing on walkway
All of this work must be completed prior to Oct. 31, 2018.
We are looking for a 'jack-of-all-trades' type of person who can complete several projects at our various rental properties. We are also hoping to develop a mutual professional relationship with someone who can provide this type of work in the future when "things go wrong," so we have a 'tried, trusted and true' person we can contact and depend on. Our preference is to hire a reliable person who works and lives locally ; that is, within the Tri-Municipal Region (Parkland County, Spruce Grove and/or Stony Plain).
Currently, we need the following work done:
* install keypad locks on two doors (this involves making some adjustments to the actual door so the locks will fit)
* raising some concrete pad steps so that water does not pool there during snow-melt or big rains
* repairing a fence gate/latch and immediately adjacent fence areas
* installing new window screen
* renovate and redirect downspout to prevent freezing on walkway
* fix a leaky shower head
* install shelving in garage
