We are looking to pull out the fibreglass two piece insert that is currently over the old orange and brown tiles. Previous owners just hid the old stuff and built on top.
Want to remove existing fibreglass and tiles, plus floorpan, install backer board, seal for watertight was etc, retile and put on new door.
Shower is 3x3.
No major plumbing. Not a huge project but something someone could take over 2 weekends.
Interested in renovating small bathroom in Master Bedroom. Mainly wish to remove existing tub and re-tile in something more modern/different colour. Something like this maybe:click here
May take on the remainder of the bathroom renovation myself (time permitting) but mainly want the old tub out and a new [tiled] shower put in.
What's it going to cost me?
Peter
Existing basement bathroom, replace vanity and sink, remove current shower and replace with a new shower base and tile the wall, replace floor tiles with new tiles, keep existing toilette but see if it was be located closer against the wall, currently no heating need either heated floor or add a baseboard heater, currently vent and light is on the switch need to separate them, basically need a more practical bathroom.
My apartment is 700 sq. feet and 31 years old. I would like to have ideas how to renovate this within a very tight budget and at same time the new bathroom to last another 30 years. The plumber says it has black spots on the wall due to old age. So I need to change the wall and insulation and etcetera, again within a very tight budget. The toilet and tank need to be change and the cabinet and mirror. The tub I think can still be salvage and cleaned. Please help also how to fumigate the black spot which maybe a mold?
Thank you very much. Appreciate all help I can.
