We decided to do a major reno on our main floor, removed walls which were load bearing, new kitchen and floors as well as bathroom floor, we searched for a contractor to help us do this and as our house was over 60 yrs old we were quite anxious and worried as you can imagine. We chose A&R Renovations, after interviewing and alot of searching and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. Alex was professional the quality was excellent. There were several trades involved in the overall construction and Alex made sure the work was coordinated so that there were no delays and kept the work flowing so that it was completed in the timeframe he initially gave us. He did a wonderful job and was always willing to answer questions. I highly recommend A&R renovation and would definitely be contacting them again next time we need some work done on my house.

We wanted to modernize our home because it was looking dated. We found Alex and really enjoyed his approach to renovations and the level of experience he shows. I believe he said he’s been in the business for over 25 years. Alex did our complete home renovation, including our bedrooms, bathrooms, basement, kitchen, the works. From beginning to end he was on the job site every single day, he ensured every inch of the process had his purview and handiwork. Overall I would 100% work with Alex again.

We hired Alex for our entire basement so that we could rent it out. We had an unfinished basement for years but were worried about horror stories we had heard from our friends about the quality of work out there. Alex came and gave us a free estimate, talked us through everything and let us have as much of an active role in the process as we needed to feel comfortable. The quality of his work is impeccable, but his standards for his own work comes even above that somehow. My husband and I are exceptionally happy with how our basement turned out. Alex of A & R just helped us to renovate 4 bathrooms and a laundry room. It was a big project, and with Alex's advice ahead of the project, we were able to prepare and select the proper materials with quality and within budget and timeline. During the project, he managed to have everything installed properly and within time, from electricity, plumbing, tiling, and painting to shower glass, etc. It was a great experience to work with Alex.

We just recently had an issue with our fridge and some water issues from the water dispenser. I reached out to Alex to see if he could help us figure out the issue. He got back to me right away and even with his busy schedule came out as soon as he could to again help us out with the problem and fixed it. We hired Alex from A and R Renovations to complete a substantial renovation in our home which included removing a structural wall to create a new kitchen. He also renovated our ensuite and updated our stairs, the laundry room, powder room and family room with a new media unit, aside from many other updates to our home. Alex was hired to renovate a kitchen, two bathrooms, and install basement flooring. Despite having to wait for 6 weeks to have a new kitchen installed, Alex had made an effort to minimize the delays and his communication was on point. Furthermore, deficiencies were resolved in a timely manner. Overall, a good job completed by a reliable contractor.

When deciding to renovate our basement, we immediately turned to A & R Renovations to get the job done. We have had previous work done with them and knew we could trust Alex and his team. We had some water issues in the past so we wanted to ensure everything was done properly and safely so we have no issues for the future. Alex did a complete renovation of our basement. With a lot of hard work our basement is finally done and our family now has another warm and bright area for us to enjoy for years to come.
