My contractor Ben Rusi did renovation of my washroom.

He did excellent job by doing a high standard renovation and me and my wife were very happy with his job.

He was very punctual correct honest trustworthy and very professional at his work.

We are so happy that will recommend this guy to anyone and also to our closed friends.

On our opinion he will be the only option for our future renovation.

Ben was phenomenal. It’s hard to find someone trustworthy these days in this business. I interviewed 5 contractors for the job and knew Ben was the one right away. It was a massive undertaking levelling our sub floor, laying tile and redoing the bathroom.

We first hired Ben on a test run to do our laundry room. We were so pleased with the work, we hired him for the big project of fixing our floors. We would absolutely recommend Ben to anyone. We consider him a friend after the project and would have no issues recommending him to friends and family.

Turned our cold, dingy basement bathroom into a bright, functional space. New heated floors help make it warm & inviting. We love it and would hire Ben again. Check out the Before & After pictures!

We hired Ben after inviting several contractors to review out basement and provide an estimation. Between all who came, Ben's offer stood out on multiple reasons:

- Ben correctly located all the hidden plumbing (behind the wall, under the floor), basing on his knowledge of the code alone. Other contractors said they would need to open all floor, all walls to inspect.

For example, Ben's experience came as far as he pinpointed exactly a place on a floor, where the toilet's rough-in was. He did not hesitate to spend extra time to open just that spot on the floor and show the rough-in right there.

- Ben effectively organized proper party of certified and insured professionals, like electricians and plumbers. They all dedicated their time to come over too, and to inspect the area, take our ideas, and figuring the plan of actions.

As it came later, all stages of renovation were coming in proper order with minimal gap.

- Ben took our ideas for renovated basement and offered his suggestions. For example, we added extra foot to the movie room to accommodate footrests between sofa and mediacenter. The result is the layout of basement rooms and amenities, which we love!

- And obviously the price of the project offered in the quote was very reasonable.

At the end, the final price did increase to cover unexpected complication with the ceiling (reasonable, via 3rd party), but beside that Ben was doing additional work here and there without increasing price for his work.

Also worth mention is that Ben gives "an allowance" to purchase the parts as we desire, if we chose to buy them by ourselves. The prices of such parts and materials, were credited back to us, if we purchase them. Otherwise Ben was buying exactly these, accounting for a price difference with that allowance.

For example, we had a particular mirror in mind, and Ben took his time to get to the store where it was available, and purchase it for us.

Ben also gave us great recommendations about the stores where we would find the parts and materials, really good looking, and not available in big-name department stores. For example, the wall tiles for the bathroom look majestic!

After the project is complete, we love our new basement and we love hanging in there, with our family members and guests.

We recommend Ben to everybody who want to have the success, the quality, compliance with the code, and beautifulness in their renovation projects!

Ben did a fantastic job constructing our deck. He was extremely professional and went above and beyond in ensuring construction was strong and sound on our composite deck . He did an excellent job and I would not hesitate in recommending his work to anyone and will definitely be hiring Ben again should we have any future projects required.

We had 3 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces and all of the floors of the main floor replaced with tile and engineered. Ben is an amazing contractor to work with, he is friendly, a person with high integrity (hard to find these days) and best of all he actually knows what he is doing! His work is detailed and he provides regular updates. My husband has a construction background and can critique others work easily and he says Ben's work is high quality. We will actually miss having him around and have to say that we consider him a friend through the process. We have actually already asked him to help us with other projects (outdoor workshop/gym) and our vacation home. What a great guy! I would not hesitate to recommend him or have him help us out again. We are currently on vacation but I will put his works pictures up with my review.

We first engaged Ben to build a backyard brick patio. He built it on-time, on-budget and to a level of quality that we still enjoy today! We quickly engaged Ben on another project to re-purpose a storage room into a home office; he managed our expectations perfectly and again provided another high quality product that gets rave reviews from all who see it. Over the years, Ben has been "the go to" contractor for all of our needs doing several small jobs and two projects - built a shed and repaired/rebuilt our sundeck.

At the same time we had Ben building the patio, we had another contractor working on two other (separate) projects. Unfortunately, the other contractor had over committed and was absolutely not capable to finish the jobs on-budget or on-time or to the required level of quality. We had Ben take over as the lead for those projects (also guiding the previous contractor) and Ben literally "saved the day" for us as he was able to effectively manage matters to get the projects completed before the heavy fall rains started.

We know we can absolutely trust Ben to consistently provide a quality service/product that is on-budget, on-time, at the desired level of quality and managed in a professional, honest and respectful manner.

Really happy with the outcome. Have a beautiful balcony that actually drains properly, which is quite a feat for what was originally a partially curved, and very poorly levelled balcony. The work done was a massive improvement on what we had. Money well spent.
