Tyler was prompt with his quote, arrived on time, and was very friendly, obliging and helpful. He kept the mess to a minimum and when he was completely finished the room was left perfectly clean. He is a very skilled person which is evident when we look at the beautiful floor. We would highly recommend Tyler!

Tyler removed our old laminate flooring and installed new flooring throughout our home. He was professional, consistent, and courteous throughout the entire project. Tyler stuck to the estimated timeframe and budget, and even moved his plans and schedule around to accommodate our kitchen reno and our tenant's schedule (who gave him a two day gap to finish the basement suite). We appreciated working with a contractor who was so pleasant and accommodating, and without any surprises! We recommend Tyler to anyone thinking of changing their flooring.

We recently renovated out entire house and had Tyler install our flooring. His work was impeccable. He was very meticulous and conscientious with the work he did for us. He spent so much time prepping our floors and doing everything very thoroughly. He treated the job like he was working on his own place. He cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the job. He was very respectful and very good at communicating with us. Home renos are pretty stressful and we wish that all the contractors we had were as professional as Tyler. We strongly recommend him if you have a flooring project.

Our experience with Tyler Shumyla was a breath of fresh air. Myself and husband have been through many different renovations over the years so we do have experience with trades...not all good. This being said Tyler Shumyla's flooring company was one of the better experiences we have had over the years. I was in a pinch to get flooring installed promptly and Tyler committed to the job. Tyler worked so hard and efficiently! His work installing the floor was excellent and he is a personable and professional man. Our new floors look great! I write this review because I feel for people out there trying to get the job done properly and have difficulty finding reliable trades. Rest assured Tyler is your man for flooring!

A few weeks ago my wife and I asked Shumyla's Flooring Solutions to give us a quote on a sizeable flooring job in our house. Slightly over 1300sqft of vinyl plank flooring with a lot of irregular nooks and crannies. Tyler came over and we were impressed from the start with his kind and professional manner. He gave us a precise quote and was open and honest about some of the possible challenges and any extra costs that could arise. Let me stress this to you. THERE WERE NO UNPLEASANT SURPRISES during the course of this project. Tyler was very respectful of our space and privacy throughout the time he was here. In the end we were extremely happy with the job he did, our new floors are beautiful. It is certainly NOT a job we could have done ourselves and we are very grateful to have found an installer with the skill and professionalism of Mr. Tyler Shumyla. There are zero issues or red flags as far as we are concerned. 5 stars across the board.

We found Tyler on this website after interviewing several other competitors. Tyler gave us an honest assessment of our flooring project, how long it would take and what the final costs would be. He installed new flooring in our main floor living room area and kitchen, downstairs on the lower level and he also re-did all the stairs plus two landings and an entrance way. Although the completed project took a little longer than originally expected, we were quite happy with the finished results. Tyler was always polite, friendly, prompt and we could count on his phone calls to keep communication lines open. We would highly recommend him to anyone needing a skilled professional flooring contractor. Great job, Tyler!

I actually found Tyler on this website. I don't think I have ever hired a trades person as talented and courteous as Tyler. He laminated 900sq. ft. flooring in 3 days which I thought was incredible. There is noway I can say enough great things about this guy. If I could I would adopt him.

Shumyla's Flooring Solutions did an excellent job in re-tiling the kitchen and bathrooms and installing laminate floor in our new house. Tyler quoted us a price that was very reasonable. He always showed up on time. If there were any questions or suggestions, he never took it upon himself to make an executive decision taking the old "it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission" approach and contacted me beforehand to explain the situation and make his recommendations. I never felt out of the loop. The finished product was beautiful. I highly recommend Shumyla's Flooring Solutions to anyone in need of laminate or tile. Tyler takes great pride in his work and it shows. Wouldn't think twice to ask him to do more work for us.

Shumyla's Flooring Solutions performed excellent work. In addition to the flooring we had a window seat that was also laminated and required some difficult angle cuts, especially for the oak nosing. This company even went the "extra mile" by assisting in moving the heavy furniture back into the room after the job was complete. We are looking to use this company again in the future and we recommend them highly.
