ABZ Contracting completely renovated our kitchen, living room area into one open space, removing two walls, replacing kitchen cabinets, installing new floors and ceiling pot lights, installing smaller windows and arranging brickwork repair outside. They started on time as planned, worked efficiently and cleanly, removing all debris promptly and sweeping up/tidying each day before leaving. Communication was efficient and texts were answered quickly each day. They listened to our concerns with intent, working with our ideas and providing options we hadn't thought of ourselves that worked out great. They provided support and ideas at the the kitchen cabinet provider meeting with us. They made this whole big project seem less overwhelming by helping us break decisions down into smaller projects in an orderly process. Detailed invoicing was delivered promptly each week via email with e-transfers the requested method of payment. Overall we highly recommend this company for their professional work ethic and good communication skills. They treated our renovation like they were doing their own home so everything was top notch and treated with care. We love the finished product.

I let all my neighbors and friends know how happy I am with ABZ Contracting. From the first time they came into my home I felt I was in good hands. Chris C. and Chris M. are both knowledgeable contractors with a lot of experience. I had them to my home numerous times to help me get just what I wanted in a total kitchen renovation which included tearing down walls, reconfiguring the entire layout, removing my popcorn ceiling, shortening my windows which included brick work outside, removing & replacing my ceramic floor. You name it, they did it! They showed up on time every day and left my place clean at the end of the day. My project started and finished on time. They have great connections for supplies and are able to do most of the work themselves without having to rely on other tradespeople. I will not hesitate to use ABZ Contracting for future jobs.

This is the second we have used Chris and his team and he did not disappoint. Master Bath had heated floors, large glass shower, moving the drain, moving the shower head to a new wall, floor tiles. A couple of electrical outlets had to be relocated also.

Chris kept us up to date on the start date. Project started on time and finished on time, no issues. We had a couple of side issues that popped up during the reno, and Chris seamlessly looked after them.

The bathroom turned out beautiful..

We hired ABZ Contracting to complete a gut and rebuild of our 1500 sq ft basement including adding in a 3-piece bathroom and wet bar. Both Chris’ were excellent; friendly and professional. I had no concerns in our house with young children and pets. Chris completed all the drawings and permitting, had helpful suggestions, listened and incorporated our thoughts throughout the process. Despite the hurdles COVID put in the way, they came in on time and on price!

I highly recommend them to anyone doing a renovation. We will rehire them for more work.

My husband and I were hesitant to hire contractors to redo our master bedroom ensuite. We would hear horror stories all the time about contractors. ABZ was recommended to us by a friend and we are extremely happy and super pleased with the outcome. Both Chris' were very understanding and respectful to our vision. They went through everything with us step by step and gave great opinions. We were not stressed at all and felt very secure in their ability to do it all ! Extremely knowledgeable, honest, fair and trustworthy . We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Chris was fantastic at every stage of the process. He communicates well, asks questions about details when needed, and works quickly. He was supportive throughout the design process and thoughtful when providing feedback about what items we were thinking about purchasing.

Chris is an honest contractor who never took advantage of my ignorance and never added on charges for silly reasons. He communicated with me each step of the way and took time to answer my questions, regardless of how rudimentary they were.

I hired ABZ contracting to renovate a bathroom in my parent's home. The 1960's bungalow had a small bathroom that needed to be expanded to incorporate a full-size laundry closet (Stackable) and a walk-in glass shower with bench. Chris Campbell did the architectural drawings. budgeted, and presented the plans to expand and install. The Bathroom is complete, all inside the budget, and to a professional level that could have cost significantly more with other companies. At no time did I feel a disconnect with Chris, and he consistently communicated the progress to me including budget analytics. I found ABZ through Google Reviews, but it was Chris's easy-going and kind personality that got him the job. My parents are thrilled with the results, and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. 5* rating to Chris and his team for a job well done.

We were looking for a contractor to renovate our basement and master bedroom ensuite. We found ABZ Contracting on the Trusted Pros website.

The basement we wanted needed to include shower, toilet and wash stand, kitchenette, living area and bedroom: plus new flooring, pot lights, patio doors and plastered walls and ceiling. There was no prior working toilet so a pump had to be installed. In other words a major renovation

The ensuite needed new shower enclosure wash basin and toilet

Chris quickly provided a detailed plan of the renovations.

At the end of any large job there are minor issues that need to be addressed and Chris attended to those willingly.

We were very satisfied with both the price and the service we received. Chris kept us up to date with when he could start. I asked for a couple of small changes during the project and they were handled easily. The job site was cleaned each day and when it was finished there was no evidence that they had even been there other than our new deck. We have a bathroom renovation coming up and I will most definitely be calling Chris.

The guys were very reasonably priced and did a fantastic job. Took on the entire project from start to finish and got it done over the holidays ahead of schedule. Chris and Chris were professional and easy to work with.
