Harman has been great kind and knowledgeable from start to finish, the project was done on time or fairly close to it! If there were any issues Harman was sure to correct them right away. We look forward to working with Harman in future projects.

I found Harman (ACUBE Const) to be polite and professional at all times throughout the build process, however I find what lets the company down is the level of workmanship provided by “some” of the sub contractors he opts to use. From beginning to the end of the project I felt corners were cut and some of the work was poorly executed.

The list of deficiencies was too long to list here but I have attached some photos of the work performed. The project was also originally estimated to take 4 months but took 9 before it was finished. E-mails, texts and phone calls were often ignored, I got the feeling this project was a filler in between other jobs, rarely did I see trades on site for a full week and often times didn’t stay full days to get work done. We didn’t get fixtures and fittings that were requested so you have to dot your “i’s” and cross your “t’s”. Before signing any contract, quotes are vague as are change orders. I would not recommend ACUBE Construction for any future project.

Much of what Harman says in his 2nd rebuttal is total and utter fabrication. He is fortunate that this isn’t in court where he would be under oath. I paid everything we agreed to and more, I still have all the paperwork for this job, I’d be quiet happy to post the quote with His signature on it and I would challenge him to provide change orders with my signature on them. There is no baseboard heating in the Bedroom extension, only in the garage and one in the crawl space. Harman protects his trades and not his customer, “Some” of the trades he uses are sloppy and do poor quality work and are unprofessional. The only time any money was held back was at the end because he did not address all deficiencies and we still didn’t have a garage door installed. The money held back was less than 5% of the total project.

Harman provided a quote for this project, as he should well know a quote is not the same as an estimate, a quote is an agreed price between two parties. An Estimate is an estimated price normally including a contingency for cost overruns.

Yes I made a few requests along the way, all of which I paid for.

I have just hired Acube Constructions to put fence in front of my house and they it was done in no time.

This was the second time I hired this company and always a job well done. I will definitely hire them again if there is any chance in the future.

Harman was very professional and kept us up to date on scheduling. Last minute changes were accommodated and work was done expeditiously. Very happy with their services and would highly recommend!

Was very good at answering questions and texts, as well as explaining the work that needed to be done and what had been done during the job. My only issue is that things weren’t exactly done to a “that looks great!” level. There was a significantly scratched area left on the ceiling and the crown moulding put in was left as it came without proper paint on it and quite fingerprint/ mark covered. The area around the dishwasher could also have used a little extra effort to cover up bolted in areas. All that said, the job was done and done for basically the quoted price and he was willing to do a smaller job when a lot of other contractors weren’t interested, as well as being able to start the job immediately and completing it in the discussed timeframe.

Harman Kahlon and the team he put together to manage our small project were great! I gave them a window of one week to start on a Monday and finish on a Friday and they stuck to that timeline and got everything done. Painters arrived 30 minutes early on the first day of the project!! All contractors arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. Harman was great in explaining what was going on and keeping me up to date. He showed up every day to make sure things were going well and on schedule. Some paint touch ups were required. I feel the painters should have removed towel bars instead of taping them and painting around them as this is where paint was missed, but all in all, a very good job. A complicated broken closet door proved to be challenging, but we worked through it to get it into the best repair possible without ordering a new door. I am very pleased with the work the GNK team did. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Harman and GNK Construction.
