I hired John to tape my basement. We agreed on a price. He asked for half after a days works completed I said thats fine. He came back a second time only to leave early. Told me he would come back the next day. This is when exuse after excuse. He told me he was now to busy and couldn't finish the job. I asked him for some money back. He agreed but that never happened. He ripped me off. Made up a story that he put an envelope of money at my door funny cause I have cameras around my home and he was never at my house. It was very difficult to find another contractor willing to finish his work and the ones I found asked a crazy amount of money to finish. I ended up taping it myself.
John Barron is a liar and he did rip me off NO MONEY WAS RETURNED TO ME.
This is absurd. And a case of a customer who expected too much for too little. The framing and drywall was installed by the customer and the work was near impossible to complete. Corner beads would not even fit on the out of plumb and wavy bulkheads and corners etc. I approached Chris about this and his response was that it needs to be done. Yes, it took me some time to refund his money, but I did. Great idea to smear a contractors reputation because another DIY disaster happened and left a contractor with no solution and work that could never be completed to even a poor standard, based on the work performed by the homeowner. In hind site, I should ve taken it all apart and charged way more than my reasonable price. Thanks for your feedback, Chris. Build it better next time.

Jonathan did a job for me in two rooms for full drywall install ready to paint. Install was great however when it came for mud and tape he did first coat and said prime it and he’ll come back for touch ups. Took my money in full and never returned blocking my phone number.
This is a lie. Your work was coated twice after tapes were laid. Touchups are priming is an extremely standard practice for any taper. When I came to do touchups only one of the two rooms was primed and we had agreed that everything would be ready. It was not honoured in your part. Paid in full . Ok, Jeff. You asked for a price over 1000 cheaper than was quoted. Now you re stating falsified information as fact on a public profile for a business? This is far below your pay grade and you should be ashamed.

Great experience with Jon. From start to finish, our expectations were exceeded. We had clear communication from the first quote to finish, we were able to accomodate each others schedules, and the quality of work was fantastic. Pricing was more than fair, and Jon was able to align us with other tradesmen of equal talent and character when needed. Overall great experience... and did I mention that Jon left the work site clean?!?

Johnathon Barron provided services for our basement renovation last winter. (framing, drywalling, taping, painting, flooring). He was friendly and efficient. He was prompt with his quote,getting the project started and finishing within projected budgets and timelines. I appreciated that he kept the work area clean and did not make excessive noise as I have young children. Delays occurred only due to other trades ie. plumbing and electrical and the associated permits. He added a few creative features such as a rounded entertainment unit and 4-door sliding enclosure for the bedroom area. I am very glad we decided to use a raised subfloor and vinyl plank flooring, both of which he was able to install. The work was primarily done on weekends and weekday evenings. Overall very satisfied and grateful for Johnathon's hard work and dedication. We are thoroughly enjoying having the extra finished space. I was glad to support a local entrepreneur and would recommend Barron Interiors. Pictures available upon request.

Jonathan Barron interiors, was recommended to me by a friend. I decided to give Jonathan a call for an estimate, he came to my house at the time we agreed upon and proceeded to give me an estimate for taping, mudding, sanding my basements walls. after agreeing on a price he explained to me what he was going to do and the length of time it was going to take. The job was done exactly as he said it would. I am very impressed and happy with his job. It was done in a very professional manner and it took the time he said it was going to take. I would recommend Jonathan Barron interiors to anyone looking to get their renovations done prodessionaly and on time. I would call Jonathan in the future if I ever needed any renovation done in my house. I'm a very happy custumer. ????

I hired Jon, from Barron interiors, to finish my basement.
It's approximately 1600 sq ft, and Jon did an amazing job!
Not only did he frame, drywall, mud, and tape, but he would keep the space clean and tidy after everyday that he worked.
Jon was also able to comeback after painting was completed to do a final inspection and touch ups.
I highly recommend Barron Interiors for any renovation job, big or small!
