As a person hiring a "professional" I would hope that they would take note that there wasn't a drip edge on before installing the eaves troughs. In hopes that it would be brought to my attention before installation. If we know it's going to leak why would I wan't to pay money for that. I am a new owner of this residence and I know nothing about roofing. That's the point of hiring someone who is supposed to see this kind of thing. As for this contractor wanting to finish the job and do extra because they care... that really showed in the 2 1/2 months of them committing to show up weekly and infact never showing up at all or not communicating in any way that they weren't. This contractor stated to me that it is a "easy fix" and would take "10 minutes". It seems like if it was such a easy fix and they care to do extra to finish the job properly and is important to this contractor then 2 1/2 months should have been sufficient time to complete. This contractor said directly to me "by not mentioning that they thought there is a good possibility they would leak puts them in a bad position" I would hope that by seeing they made a mistake that would push them to get it done quicker instead of not at all. This contractor is way to much hassle and im done chasing them around. They are infact not the best people to fix my job nor will they touch my property with any other work. There are much more deserving companies out there who are trustworthy and do better work. Lesson learned.. don't hire the first company that comes up in a google search.
What I needed to fix was the inpropper instalation of roofing and lack of drip edge. I was going to spend my money and time to fix a problem that was not Eavestrough related. I was and still would be the best person to have crossed paths with Jeff. I still have the custom Drip edge waiting to be installed at no cost to him. It is not an easy thing installing drip edge after shingles are on. WHY would I do this? I would do it because I do care about the job I do and always want someone to feel they got more than they paid for. In this situation the trough is installed properly and the extra I could to is spend a couple of hours and finish the roofers job.

Showed up a little late but got job done and all seems to look good. Repaired a leak on roof by where garage meets house for free...this is why I'm taking time to review. Appreciated extra effort without trying to gouge me for extra cost. Thanks.
