Borrowed Time did an excellent job. They not only installed the cabinets but improved my wonky plumbing. I really appreciated this as i know little about plumbing. They are excellent painters and the floor installation went smoothly.

They are efficient workers and really pay attention to detail. This is the second job they have done for me and I would definitely hire them again.

Our kitchen was very small and not user friendly. Greg and Tanya came over and made suggestions on how to best use the space we had. They took down a load bearing wall, expanded our kitchen, refinished our whole first floor. Plumbing and electrical ,flooring, we got the works. The final product was simply gorgeous. We are very happy with the results and the process. Greg and Tanya were very open to suggestions and easy to get along with. I would recommend them to anyone looking for any type of work on their home. They were on budget and on time. A win - win situation.

This was the second project that Greg did for us. It was a basement renovation that involved a new bathroom, kitchenette, living room and bedroom designed for a wheel chair situation. Greg made several good suggestions on improvements on our original plans. We are pleased with how it turned out. Quality of work was excellent. Once Greg starts a project he sticks with until it is done, working only on one job at a time. Electricians and plumbers came in timely as needed. He cleans up at end of each day. We would not hesitate to have Greg do another project for us.

When we decided to have our kitchen redone, the staff at Borrowed Time quickly gained our trust with their prompt reply to questions and the professionalism that was shown right from our first meeting. Tanya is a pro at using IKEA software and did not rush us through the design phase. All ordering, pick up and delivery was organized by Tanya (even giving a quick ‘heads up’ call to say the delivery would be imminent). Greg’s vast experience came in to play as he walked us through the reno process and pointed out future considerations so that there would be no regrets. Work was done in a timely manner, the site was left in good shape at the end of each day. Greg kept us posted on timelines and what to expect. We are beyond pleased with the way our kitchen looks. The entire job (kitchen reno, remove and replace most of the main level flooring, painting) was completed in two weeks! Don’t be fooled by the time frame, quality was not sacrificed; it reflects the way Borrowed Time focuses on one job at a time, giving full attention to the customer/job and being easy to contact throughout the process. Highly recommend this company.

I definitely could sleep at night knowing Borrowed Time was on the job. This team not only provided a beautiful kitchen reno, they did it with good communication, attention to detail and excellent problem solving of any issues that arose. They were all very pleasant to work with and always provided updates. They showed up on time and cleaned up when they left. Most importantly, the quality of their work was excellent. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again.

Greg Johnson is professional and very knowledgeable. When I needed info on whether or not what I wanted could be done, he was able to tell me why my old bathroom floor was cracked and what he would do to prevent the new floor from cracking again. As well as replacing my bathroom floor, he removed the old vanity and plumbing, installed a new light fixture, installed the new vanity and faucet, painted. Everything was done with explanations when necessary and completed in an efficient manor. When finished everything was cleaned up. I'm delighted with my new bathroom! This is the third time I've hired Greg to do work for me - in Nov 2020 he removed the old and installed new kitchen cabinets for me, as well as adding pot lights, painting, removing the old tile floor, installing new subfloor, and running the water supply for my new fridge. I no longer call anyone else for estimates. I call Greg to see when he can fit me in and know that he will do a great job at a reasonable price. I'm very pleased with the work he has done for me.

From quote to finish professional, timely, knowledgeable, and quality. Greg talked you through everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Found ways to maximize the small space we had. Followed all covid protocols. no corners were cut. Tile work was great gaps are tight floor is level. Drywall and mud smooth and clean. Shower work all-around clean work. Trim miters cuts were perfect no gaps. Would recommend him to anyone. Busy guy and I know why it was worth the wait. Only contractor I will use going forward.
