We feel extremely lucky to have found Aleks on Trusted Pros. He did an amazing job installing a porcelain tile floor in our home and undoing the damage left behind by a group of shoddy contractors that we hired just a year earlier.

Aleks was a pleasure to work with. He took the time to answer all of our questions and explain in detail the work that he would perform. His laid-back nature made communication very easy.

We would recommend Aleks to anyone and we are already considering him for future renovation projects.

It was the first time i used Trusted Pros. Right from the begin Aleks was easy to work with and open to answering all of my questions. He was very reliable, very knowledgeable, stayed on budget and did a great job! I would absolutely recommend him and use him again.

This is the first time I've posted a project on trustedpros.ca and I'm so glad I did! Aleks was an absolute pleasure to work with and extremely and knowledgeable. His prices were fair and you can tell he takes great pride in his workmanship.

What was also great about working with Aleks was that, despite calling him numerous times with questions about the project, he was always very patient with me and thorough with his answers.

On the day of the job, he arrived on time and was friendly and professional. The final product definitely exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Aleks to anyone!

Aleks did a number of various jobs around my house:

1) Ceiling in the kitchen (drywalling, taping)

2) Redoing the parquet floors on second floor (buffing, staining, putting 2 coats of urethane)

3) Cornering newly-run air ducts

4) Installing a dishwasher

5) Putting in laminate floors on the first floor (picture attached)

What I liked about working with Aleks:

- Aleks was very punctual. The work was done exactly on the day(s) he said it would be done.

- He was reasonably priced.

- He worked around my needs. The air ducts in the kitchen were placed slightly incorrectly by the duct company, but Aleks managed to make the corners level with the adjacent wall, which was great, as the kitchen space is too valuable to waste.

- His partner Bibi who buffed parquet floors for us exceeded my expectations. Our parquet was covered in very deep scratches, and I kept hearing it was impossible to remove them. After Bibi was done I couldn't find a one.

The were a couple of small hiccups, but nothing I cannot live with.

- For the kitchen ceiling, we had to patch a narrow opening between one of the walls and the ceiling.

- After buffing, a layer of fine sowing dust remained on the upper surfaces like shelves and door frames. I had to apply a combined effort of the dust mop, duster and a vacuum cleaner to clean it out.

However, these hiccups are small in comparison to the benefits of having Aleks to handle all those tricky jobs.

Overall, I am very glad I have found Aleks, and I will be recommending him to friends and family.

Recently, I posted my renovation needs on the Handy Canadian site. After doing some due diligence on the replies, I had a good feeling about Brist Homes.

Aleks was responsive, upbeat and his pricing was reasonable. Previous customers had nothing but good things to say about him.

When he came onsite to do a more thorough costing exercise, he demonstrated that he is extremely knowledgeable, straight up and that he could handle a great diversity of renovation needs.

When we committed to the job, he provided a detailed writeup of the work along with costing and a payment schedule.

When he was working the job he was always a friendly face, never sour. You could see he took great pride in his workmanship and we were extremely happy with the results.

The overall job was completed without any surprise additional costs and was done in a timely fashion (without compromising work quality).

Brist Homes is now in my contact database and I will be calling Aleks anytime we have a need and hoping that he still has time for us.

I strongly urge you to give Aleks a chance. He is a hard working, sincere & quality focused person and a real pleasure to work with.

Aleks did everything professionally from beginning to end. his team come promptly as promised & finished on time. the quality of his work is excellent. i am very happy with his work. he also came back to correct minor problems as requested promptly.

Aleks' professional behavior and workmanship was of course 5 Star, and I wouldn't expect anything less. But what I especially appreciated, since I'm a senior citizen, was that Aleks answered my many questions with patience and clarity, and he was never patronizing.

Aleks did an excellent job with the renovations to our washroom and kitchen. He provided us with a very reasonable quote and completed the work with great quality.
