We really enjoyed working with Derek on our kitchen renovation . His work was excellent, he was on time and was very good at explaining everything we wanted to know about laminate flooring.

We had an amazing experience hiring Derek to complete our Laminate Floor Installation. Derek was very professional, precise and knew exactly what he was doing. He matched existing floor to our new floor, finish was very professional and looked amazing. He was clean and always cleaned up his work area at the end of the day. I contacted Derek Van Lingen through an ad posted on Craigslist for floor installer. I was very impressed with his proffessionalism right from the begining. He replied to my request immediately, set up an appointment to give a written estimate on the weekend. He showed up prompltly at the time arranged. I had removed carpet from my commercial office and wanted to lay a vinyl floor over a uneven concrete floor.
At the time of our first meeting I had two different floor samples I was considering. Derek took the time to discuss the pros and cons of each sample, gave me his proffessional opinion and a fair quote for the work to be completed. He understood I was a business and agreed to complete the work on a Sunday. He even offered to pick up my flooring from the supplier, which was a wonderful help. He worked very hard from 6am till 9 pm to enusre the job was complete before the start of the next business day. He leveled my uneven floor, installed the new and even hauled away all the cardboard boxes to the recycling.
We are so happy with our new floor. I would highly reccommend Derek if you want a job done in a proffessional, timely manner at a fair price. Very impressed with this young man. Derek did offer the services of putting on my baseboards but I had promised that work to my painter (hence pictures without baseboard)
