Ryan and his crew were excellent. They installed the concrete pad for the spa on time and without any mess left behind. Ryan carried out the electrical requirements and made all the arrangements for hoisting the pool into place. The installation day was problem free. On very short notice, Ryan also built me a perfect set of steps, with platform and handrails, to go with the pool. Excellent quality work all around. Timely and trouble free.

Ryan Caswell, was conscientious, caring and thorough in doing estimates, supervising all work and following up on jobs. He hired a reliable team ,that took pride in their work.
Of course delays in supplies given it was the pandemic did affect some aspects of the job.
Ryan Caswell made every effort to have the deck, shed and swim spa ready for a major family gathering.
He was very flexible in listening to and incorporating our suggestions. He is a talented in deck, shed, fence design.
We are very pleased with our "backyard oasis " and would be happy to work with Ryan Caswell again.

Took several thousand dollars. Did horrible work - when he actually showed up which was 5x in 5 months!! Many many court orders against him in small claims court and many, many contempt hearings. He not only steals money but he doesn’t pay anything even when ordered by the courts. Steer clear!

Mr. Caswell seldom on site to supervise his workers. Many cracks in morter joints. Rough floor finish. 42 foot long wall on south side leaning outward ans unable to properly hang mandoors. Collr ties had to be cut to bring the wall back to plumb. Had o unbolt sill anchors and raise the walls to remove the wrong 4 inch sill gasket and replace it with a 6 inch gasket. Raising the walls caused many cracked morter joints. Unable to contact Mr.Caswell. (unable to leave messages as mailbox was full. Did not respond to text and email messages when there was a need to speak with him. Building inspector would not pass inspection until deficiencies were corrected. Overall...very dissatisfied with Caswell
contracting. He owes us just under $10,000 that was provided to him to complete the job.
Taking him to court again.

Ryan Caswell had satisfactorily done a number of small renos around our house. In July 2017, he took a $2000 deposit and then avoided all contact with us after that. He has since ignored notices from the Consumer Protection Act and Small Claims Court. He did not show for a court hearing and is now in contempt of court - although he did text a promise of payback at that time but it never arrived. He has never accounted for or explained his actions. Just avoidance!
Do yourself a favour and AVOID this contractor. He is willing to risk jail time over $2000.

Very pleased with all work that Ryan did for us. The work was professional done on time and exactly the costs he quoted us. Looking forward to having him do a few more things around our home. Highly recommend.

Ryan took our initial payment, started work and then asked for more money for the next phase, which we have him. We never heard from him again and then discovered he had not paid the concrete company for our foundation and they prepared a lien on our property.
He is a criminal and everyone needs to be forewarned.

Gave Ryan a deposit in August for a big sunroom Reno. He was was quick to get us a quote and a contract. Didn't start the work, Didn't file papers with the township. Won in small claims court and am now trying to collect.

Ryan contracted the replacement of the shingles on my roof in Barrie, Ontario. He managed to get this done immediately despite being late in the season and very few good weather days left. The job was completed over two consecutive days. They did a great job cleaning up the old shingles and nails. He was able to get me 35 year warranty shingles for a great price. He was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. He does quality work and is someone you can trust for all your home renovation needs.

Complaint: Ryan hired my company to do work for one of his customers. We took a deposit and in good faith proceeded to install product. Ryan has ignored countless phone calls, emails. I will file court papers today. I never post negative comments as most people given the chance will pay what they owe, in this case we can"t even get a reply. Its a shame because it looks as though he does really great work.
