I purchased an awning which cost, with taxes, slightly more than $4,000. A remote control has a button to extend the awning and a button to retract it. In a nutshell, Carl Bumbacco told me I had broken the awning which jammed against the house when the motor didn’t stop running. Although there is still warranty on the motor CB washed its hand of me completely, saying they were 4 weeks behind in their business and this was my fault because I extended the awning too far. I have a friend who researched the motor and contacted manufacturers in California and New Jersey. They had a new motor to us within 2 business days. It would appear when CB installed it no end limits had been set on the motor. It would appear the wind sensor has never been programmed. My friend studied, set end limits on the motor and fixed the awning. The warranty meant nothing to CB. Were it up to them I would never have the use of the awning which would be a very expensive decoration on my house.

We’ve had work done on our home by CB Installations, a number of times, and I couldn’t be happier with their work. The products they use are top quality and the fellows that did the work are real professionals. Their attention to detail was phenomenal, they were willing to answer your questions and do anything you requested to satisfy you
I will be hiring them again, soon, to install more windows on our home.
Thank you CB, for making home improvement easy.

HORRIBLE!!!! Thieves. Installed eavestrough and left power and phone cables running behind. 2" gap. They sent someone to look and he said " can't believe they did this!!" Came to redo it but used same kinked and bent material. Looked horrible and rain just seeped behind it. That was the back. The front was bent up on both sides, so the water just puddles in the middle. They also filled my brand new facia with nail holes from trying to fix it. Said they would fill them but didn't. My mistake was paying them in full before they were finished because I was going out of town. They took my money and that was the last time they came to my house. I called and repeatedly complain but to no avail. I asked about their 5 yr workmanship guarantee and was told that if they keep coming back then they are going to lose money. But didn't care about the money that I had paid them. In this conversation with the owner, Carl Bumbacco, he told me they weren't coming back and hung up the phone in my ear. Not professional at all. To top it all off, not even 6 months later, the last 6 or 7 feet of my eavestrough was hanging off the house and flapping in the wind. I had to fix myself.
After reading this, and you still choose to hire these crooks, call me first, I'll come to your house and you can give me your money, and tell you that it is your fault. It will be the same result. At least I'm honest about it. Crooks, cheats, thieves and liars!!!!!
never again--so many problems--that were told it was my fault--condensation running down my doors and windows is not normal and my humidity in my home is normal-this company says the same thing to all the clients-beware in a couple years you will have a mold growth or have to replace all of your drywall doors and windows--hope this helps
Reasonable installation of windows however very dissatisfied with the installation of the garden door. Trim was damaged over the winter months due to poor insulation, also had water leaking on the floor from the base of the door. Called in my complaint, sent someone to fix it, but wasn't done properly. When asking to have them look at it they now totally ignore my request and blame it on condensation. Window in the kitchen doesn't have that problem (which was not installed by them), entrance door doesn't have that problem (not installed by them). Very dissatisfied with this company.
