Disaster!
Citywide hired incompetent subcontractors to renovate my bathroom. Their so-called plumber used plywood nails to attach the pipes they damaged….yes, I said nails used to attach pipes. The plumber didn’t cap the pipes to the shower and the water leaked all night until my kitchen ceiling came down the next morning.
They installed 12x24 porcelain tiles directly onto the studs, they cut the lip on the bathtub and tried to install it without bolting it down, they did not install drywall and covered up mould and said there was none. Never used water proof materials around the tub or floor.
Citywide caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages to my property and refused to compensate. We are going to court.
Toni
I am really sorry to get a response such as this as it only demonstrates that you will continue to put people’s health and safety at risk with your incompetence.
I have documented proof of all my claims and several witnesses. I am not going to post the texts or other correspondence because they can be manipulated. That is why I sent you my final letter and copies of invoices in PDF format. You may wish to posts our chats but everyone knows you can pick and choose which ones that benefit you and edit them making them unreliable.
I want to take a moment to address your accusations concerning insurance fraud and comments you claim my neighbours have made. The statements you made are completely unfounded. I have confirmation from my insurance company and I have spoken to several of my neighbours. Should you continue to make such outrageous claims, I will be forced to sue you for defamation of character.
I am not going to publicly bad mouth you as you have done to as that is just childish. I do feel that I have a moral responsibility to warn others that the work your company does.
Should you wish to settle this matter fairly, you may contact me. It is not my intention to hurt your business but I need to be compensated for the actions of your company.
Hi first of all I would like to apologize for your experience with citywide.
You say we have taking no responsibility? I m going to see if I can upload the chat logs between you and my employer. We did everything in our power to resolve the situation but you refused absolutely everything we purposed. From the first day we started the job you ran down our staff and at one point asked one of our staff to leave the job for absolutely no reason. From day one is all we received from you was threats that you would destroy our business. Not to mention from day one you wanted to scam the insurance to have them pay for repairs at your home.
We completed almost the total job despite everything you didn t pay us not one single dollar for any of the work. You refuse to even pay for the materials that was purchased for your home.
We offered to have a engineer inspect the damage that you say we have caused and you refused. Then you send a bill for over $36,000. ?
You wanted a free bathroom plus money? But not surprising since you wanted to scam the insurance company.
It's then we should of walked away. Like I say we have all the chat logs then will be presented in court of were you agreed that all was good one week before Christmas. But then you got other contractors in to do some work and I heard from your neighbors they also didn t get paid.
In all my 52 years experience in construction I have never had to deal with a matter or a customer like this.
I don t have one single negative reviews. But from day one we received multiple threat of trying to destroy our business.
I am going to see if I can talk to the trust pilot to see if it s possible to attach just some of the chat log messages between you and our employees just for others to see.
When it comes to your cost of over $26,000 in so call repairs and $10,000 for your self we have ask not one time but multiple times to send us the invoice but you never did.
Look forward to seeing you in court.

Edward stopped by on May 28/22 and quoted us a price for work on the patio. He said no money would be paid until work is completed and they would start in one week. They arrived on June 3 and the job was completed June 4. He checked with us as work progressed to ensure it was what we wanted. Edward and Anthony were very professional and the work was completed to our satisfaction on a very timely basis. No surprises, great job!! We would not hesitate to recommend this firm.
They also removed all debris and took it with them to dispose of it. No mess.
