Cornelius executed quality work however, he was required to come back to fix deficiencies, transitions strips, and floor vents and never did. Several times he spoke to us on the phone and said he would come tomorrow then would never show. He began ignoring our calls and text messages and eventually we gave up and had to hire another source. As a result, I would not recommend Cornelius' services.

I hired Cornelius and his team to remove the existing flooring and install new laminate in my 2 bedroom condo. He was very communicative throughout the process. The existing subfloor needed to be re-leveled with cement, and he showed me where the deficiencies were prior to the work being performed for my approval. They were thorough and worked with my building to follow rules and bylaws.
There was an instance of some cement mixture that spilled but was cleaned up after it was brought to their attention.
The workmanship was excellent and the flooring looks amazing. I would hire them again for any new projects.

I was originally referred to Cornelius in 2019 and I have worked with him on 4 different projects and 3 more upcoming. He's has been one of the best people I have worked with. He's honest, caring and efficient. His work is excellent and he takes pride in his art. I trust his opinion and relie on his expertise. His attention to detail is above par especially with stair installs! I highly recommend him and he's a great guy!!

| Warranty | WHAT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY In addition to any warranty extended to the customer directly from the manufacturer of the product or materials used in the installation, the independent contractor will separately warrant that all of its work substantially conforms to the manufacturer's recommendations and follows industry standards and quality guidelines and that, upon notice from customer, it will correct any faults related to defective workmanship or mis-application of the product at NO additional cost to the customer. For a period of one (1) year from the date of substantial completion of the work, upon notice and only if the work is determined to have been performed in a manner inconsistent with industry standards, we will assist in the resolution of such defective work. If the warranty work requires the replacement of a product that is no longer available, the customer agrees to accept a reasonable product match. WHAT IS NOT COVERED This Limited Warranty does not cover the following items: 1. Any installation defect that was apparent or ascertainable at the time the work was completed but was not promptly reported. 2. Damage related to subsequent alterations, improper or abuse of the covered items by any person other than the independent contractor. 3. Damage resulting from fires, storms, electrical malfunctions, accidents, floods, sub-grade moisture conditions, leaks or acts of God; 4. Damage related to customer's failure to observe any instructions from the independent contractor and/or requirements of the manufacturer with respect to the product, including without limitation failure to control humidity and temperature levels within the home or apartment unit; 5. Any item furnished by the customer; 6. The installation of odd lots, close-outs or unwarranted product. |
