Technician installed a couple washer & dryer pedestals. When reattaching the washer hose damaged or broke it, resulting in some flooding. Company has since 2 more technicians who did Not repair the leaking hose, over the last 2 months, resulting in further damage to the laundry room baseboards and subsequently walls behind the units since the floor drain below cannot handle the amount of water leaking.
Company will not take any responsibility for the faulty work completed, will not make any further efforts to repair the hoses their technicians damaged, not are making any efforts to remedy the damaged to our home.
Sind the water has saturated both some baseboard and walls behind they are putting our family and young children and risk with possible mold growth for the last 2 months. The appliances and renovated room are only 1 year old and subsequently the braided metal hoses the same. We never experienced any leaks prior to hitting Dial an Applianceman.
Very untrustworthy. Very unprofessional, horrible customer service and lack any credibility in the field or level of customer to take any responsibility for faulty workmanship.
Micro repair done 18 months ago. Was very satisfied with service at that time. When micro failed again 18 months later I called them again. Service was within 2 days. Tech arrived when they said. Problem fixed. Unfortunately 3 weeks later micro failed again. Called them again and because were leaving on vacation they managed to fit me in the same day. Thank you Ryan. Once again tech arrives on time. Fixes the new problem. Tech appear to be very knowledgeable and wastes no time detecting the problem and fixing.
All covid protocols were followed. I would recommend Dial an applianceman if you want good service at reasonable cost.
Had an issue with dishwasher not working. Called Dial an Applianceman after seeing the good reviews. They were able to accommodate me for the repair in a couple days. I had James do the repair whom is a journeyman appliance technician. You can sure tell when someone knows what they are doing! He was also recommended by other customers. After diagnosing the problem he ordered the part and I had dishwasher working a few days later??
The price for everything was very reasonable and I am very satisfied.
I definitely will use them again and recommend.
Do not waste your time with dial an applianceman. We had used them in the past (and they were good), but they’ve either changed ownership or have started hiring unreliable service people. Someone showed up once (after the window we were provided), he left saying he would be right back and never returned. They quoted us another time to return, no one showed. They quoted us another time, (saying we would be the first call of the morning) and when no one had showed by 11, we called and were told he was on another call. We had to phone another company, but wasted 4 days trying to get service from these guys first.
Our Samsung oven would not get to operating temperature and was afraid the control board might be the problem ( no bake or broil). Shawn showed up the next day on time and quickly identified the problem and repaired a relay connection. Great service and friendly competent worker, all at a fair price. Very happy to have called Dial an Applianceman.
Literally the most unprofessional and incompetent repair person I have dealt with in all of my life. When he didn't show up in the two hour window, I called him to see if he was still coming. From the very beginning he was extremely rude on the phone, would not give me a revised time, and told me he would, "get there when he got there." Okay, fine, I work from home, not the end of the world. Hours later, he finally shows up. He LOST the parts he had purchased for the drawer, so shockingly, he wasn't able to fix the drawer. To skip ahead a bit, he actually left the drawer in worse condition when he got here.
While he was working on the repair which involved him beating the drawer with random tools for about 20 minutes, needing to be buzzed in and out of the condo THREE times to get more tools, and bending the drawer out of a rectangular shape, I was taking a business call. The call was fairly heated (to be clear, no raised voices or swearing, so not something that would be deemed offensive), but this had zero to do with the oven repair and quite frankly, was none of his business (fun fact, the issue was resolved and I was apologized to, which the repair guy wouldn't know because he wasn't part of the conversation). I went into the kitchen to discover, alas, that since he didn't bring the parts (I had provided him with the model number of the oven weeks prior and he actually had purchased them) he wasn't able to complete the repair. I was obviously frustrated, seeing the drawer sticking out inches from the oven all bent, now completely unusable, and asked when he would be back to do the repair. He said he didn't know. I explained that I would be away on business and could he get the keys from the property manager and come when I was away. His response was, "I'm not driving over there to get the keys and then coming back over here. It will have to wait until you get back." I explained that I was frustrated as this was the end of a long list of repairs that had to be completed since I moved in, and I wanted it resolved so I could get my kitchen set up properly. He then told me, "well you shouldn't have rented the place then." He then indicated that the drawer might not now be fixable, and the owner of the unit should "just buy a whole new stove." WHAT?!? The drawer needs wheels and you're going to recommend to the property manager that they ask the owner to buy a new stove?!? If that wasn't all ridiculous enough, I was obviously, at this point, incredibly frustrated, and asked him again what the time frame would be to repair the drawer, as the owner absolutely would not be replacing the entire stove due to missing wheels. He then said proceeded to lecture me about the way I was talking on the phone, called me names (rude, ignorant) based on how I was talking on the phone...uhhh, buddy, my phone conversations have zero to do with you. And I'm annoyed because you showed up late, were rude on the phone before you even got here, broke the drawer, recommended replacing the entire oven unit, couldn't give me a revised repair date, refused to pick up keys like ten minutes away to have it repaired while I was away. Now you're yelling at me (did I mention that? yeah, he was yelling at me), wagging your finger, lecturing me on how to talk on the telephone, threw a hissy fit and said he wasn't coming back. I had to ask him to leave my home repeatedly before he condescended to me a few more times and then, finally, left. Needless to say he is not welcome back here and my PM will be sending another company. If I was a man, I guarantee he wouldn't have spoken to me like that. So hire this guy if you want him to break your stuff, yell at you, lecture you, call you names, and condescend to you. And leave your oven drawer broken.
I have been calling Naz with panics relating to all major appliances within mulitple rental properties (including my own home) over the past 5 years. He is always helpful and prompt. Many times I have asked him to coordinate the repair with a tenant and he has taken care of everything. He is now my go-to repairman and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Prices are very reasonable.
