| Warranty | FairTradeWorks guarantees all workmanship for 12 months from install. Under our contract, all work will be performed under the municipal permit system and will be inspected by city officials. - In addition, all work will be inspected by our highly experienced construction Advisors throughout the project to make sure the highest standards of our company are upheld. - We heavily screen all of our trades and contractors to ensure only the most qualified and skilled people are permitted to operate under the FairTradeWorks system. - All trades and contractors are checked to ensure they have current WorkSafe BC coverage, hold the required liability insurance, and maintain current police background checks. - Note: All appliances and materials will fall under the manufacturer's warranties. - We have the highest Better Business Bureau rating of A+. - All of our builders and trades must be in good standing and registered with WorkSafeBC. This organization is dedicated to promoting workplace health and safety for the workers and employers of this province. - Every contractor applying for New Home Construction contracts must meet the standards of the Homeowner Protection Office. This warranty insurance is sometimes called a third-party warranty, the mandatory warranty or the 2-5-10 warranty. Although independent insurance companies underwrite the coverage, the Homeowner Protection Act Regulation sets the minimum standards of coverage, when the commencement dates occur, and permissible exclusions and limits on coverage. This provides for a consistent base level of consumer protection. |
