Great experience...The brothers did a wonderful job, they were great to work with. My Basement looks wonderful.

The crew was punctual and meticulous at the project. Ekrem was professional communicate as the project progress. At the end of the day the crews meticulous clean up the project area. I will hire them again for my next project.

We are extremely happy with our new kitchen. Gimis Contracting worked with us to design our space and it was more beautiful than we expected. We appreciate the communication around timing, recommendations (which we often followed) and where we could make cost effective decisions.

At the end of each day, they cleaned up like they were never there. They are meticulous and take pride in their work and their reputation. They worked with me to bring my vision for my new bathroom together by communicating with me and offering suggestions and recommendations, which I appreciated. It is always helpful to hear from experienced professionals what they believe to be the best approach. They even returned after finishing the main job to install some hardware for me.

Agim and his brother did an excellent job on the tiling of my kitchen floor. Tiling requires precision and skill. The grout lines are done very neatly and accurately. They were patient with my requests, and being an elderly person, this was very appreciated. I would not hesitate calling them again in the future. They are trustworthy and reliable.

I hired GIMIS contracting after learning about them on Trusted Pros and reading the positive reviews. The scope of the bathroom renovation included replacing the bathtub, toilet, pedestal sink, ceramic tiling on the bathtub walls and floor, installing an exhaust fan that didn't exist before, trim work and painting.

The work was performed timely and with good communications about the project. My wife and I were very impressed with the cleanliness of the work site at all times.

We were reluctant to call a contractor do to the many horror stories that we've all heard. We decided to call Gimis contracting for a quote on a bathroom renovation. Our phone call was promptly returned and we had a quote within a few days.

From start to finish both brothers were very courteous and professional, they were very knowledgeable and helped us through the design/build process as this was our first time working with a contractor. They were very patient with us when we changed our plans from the original. They did the job on time and on budget and we're very happy with the work they did.

It is rare to come across this level of craftsmanship today. These two gentlemen are meticulous and knowledgable, and most important of all, trustworthy, in all aspects of home renovations.

These two young men are wonderful. Honest, hardworking and true craftsmen. My shower had some complexities for accessibility etc and they came up with methodology to make my bathroom the talk of the town. We recently had the fortunate pleasure of hiring Gimis Contracting to renovate one half of our 55 year plus basement of which included the addition of a three piece bathroom, kitchenette and laundry room. Together with the electrical, plumbing and sewage piping the finished product turned out to be excellent. The boys worked so hard in completing the task on time and within budget. They cleaned-up at the end of the day and discussed their progress making recommendations, very helpful indeed.

We went out for several quotes and at the end of it all, Gimis saved us a lot of money for a job well done.

We just moved into a 60 year old house that was in need of a basement renovation. The existing so called small 4-piece bathroom included a shower that was elevated on top of a 10 inch thick concrete cement block with a drain hole in the middle. The drain pipe came out of the bottom of the block, ran above grade into the stack. The outside wall of the shower was built directly onto the cinder block foundations, no studs, insulation etc.

To make a long store short, I'm giving you one example of a complex renovation. From removal and installing sewage pipes, plumbing and completing the project. The total project included a revised cold room, large bathroom, kitchenette and laundry room.

Ekrem and Agim are dedicated professional's, they start the day on time, finish the day after their daily clean-up with a detailed progress report. Their work ethic is second to none. Excellent detailed work, especially the finished product. The project was completed on time in 6 weeks. This contractor saved us a lot of money compared to others. We will see them again next spring for more home improvements.

Due to a leaky bathtub supply line it became evident that our bathtub would have to be

removed to get at our plumbing problem. I didn't know any tradesmen or contractors and I wasn't even sure which type of business that I should be calling to do the job. My wife and I had decided that if we were removing the the tub that we would like to replace it with a glass enclosed shower.

Knowing that we would be wanting it all to be tiled, I Googled something like Best tile installer Hamilton Ontario and one of the results was in this "Trusted Pro's" forum under these reviews of Gimis Contracting. All of the reviews had such outstanding things to say about the Gimis brothers that I was skeptical if they might have omitted the less than favourable reviews some how.

I will Fast-Forward to Now at this point. The Gimis brothers have completed our bathrooms total "Gut" and renovation.

The bathroom is absolutely Perfect right down to the last centimetre of caulking. And I do mean perfect. You cant find even the smallest of blemish or little "mess -up". In my experiences through the years this level of craftsmanship is simply unheard of ! Clean-cut, Polite, meticulous in every task, on budget,completed 2 days early, Clean beyond belief (they got down on their hands and knees with a sponge and bucket and wiped the floor down all the way to the front door when they were done for the day EVERY day. What more can I say? I have never been one to recommend businesses to people for fear of them having a problem etc etc etc.

I would recommend Gimis Contracting to my own Grandma and dearest friends and relatives. If you are fortunate enough to book these fantastic guys you will see what I mean. No Worries Perfection!!!

Gimis Contracting did a fantastic job building a basement bathroom in my new home from scratch. The work was completed in a timely manor and it was a pleasure to deal with Ekrem and his crew. They were great at communicating progress and involving me in all aspects of the construction. The crew was clean, professional and courteous throughout the entire project and were trustworthy to leave in my home alone. As well as completing / building the bathroom they completed a few side jobs at the same time (completing an unfinished bedroom / storage). The price initially quoted was the final price (no hidden fees or add-ons). We are very impressed with the quality of work and have had zero issues with the bathroom since moving in. The job was completed in June and the bathroom looks as good as the day it was finished (See pictures). We would absolutely recommend Gimis Contracting and look forward to working with Ekrem and his crew again!

Gimis tile just finished the renovation on our bathroom. It looks fantastic ! The results exceeded our expectations. Agim and Ekron did an excellent job. Gimis Tile did a great job in my bathroom. It was a large installation. They tiled the shower walls, bathroom walls and the floor.

They did this in a timely manner, took pride in their work and were clean and tidy. The bathroom looks beautiful and they were able to advise me on best grout colour and pattern. I would highly recommend them.

We went with Gimis based on the reviews from this site trusted pros. We are so grateful for that decision Agim and Ekron are such gentleman, they worked in our house with such care and cleanliness, we felt that they really cared about our home and belongings. This was our second time using Gimis tile, and once again, we were thoroughly impressed!! They are so thorough, and care deeply about doing a perfect job. They even went above and beyond our expectations by locating a very unique drain which we needed. Not only did we get a perfect job done, but there was not a spot of mess left!! The guys are are very courteous, and we have already arranged for them to come back next year to do another bathroom as well as a fireplace. Thanks very much Agim and Ek!!! Great work!!

Gimis Tile were exceptional. Our master bathroom is now luxurious. Gimis (Agim and Ek) took the time to talk about all options and gave us their personal and professional opinions. They built not only a very nice shower, but they installed extra water protection that will last the lifetime of the house. The tile work is clean with very good lines and there are no tiles which look out of place. They also provided great insight on where to get our tiles and vanity. They arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. It was a joy to work with these two guys and we look forward to doing more business with them. Lastly, I should mention that for the quality workmanship and product we received, the cost is very reasonable!

We contracted Gimis Tile to do a partial bathroom renovation which included removal and installation of a bathtub, porcelain tile surround, and complete porcelain floor installation. We were looking for a tight timeline, and we were happily surprised that Gimis Tile was able to fit us in within 3 days when another client had to post-pone their project. They showed up promptly every day and on schedule, and each step of the renovation was completed in a timely fashion, and right on budget. They were friendly, polite and informative, and offered a number of useful suggestions, some of which we incorporated into the project. They have a great work ethic; they worked precisely and quickly, and left the worksite clean each day.
