Randy converted a basement to a full functional apartment. Large kitchen, washroom, pantry, bedroom and living area. With my disability he was able to install things needed to make life much easier and took the time to ask what I needed.

He was able to work with a tight budget and exceeded the time line.

We’ve wanted a proper bathroom and laundry room in our basement for years, but we knew it would be a big project. From our first meeting with Randy we were impressed with his prompt communication and stress-free approach. He and his team were fantastic every step of the way, from tear-down to plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, etc. We especially liked the daily end-of-day updates he provided. It was a “big” little project and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

We bought our first home and decided to completely remodel it. We are so glad we chose Randy - as we could not have found a better person to do it. He pretty much renovated our entire house alone during the COVID situation and did a fantastic job. He built the basement with a bathroom, remodelled the kitchen and all of this was done in a very timely manner with high quality. I'm no stranger to renovations; and always found them stressful. When we moved into our condo, the floors, bathrooms and kitchen needed complete renovations. Thank goodness for Randy Buchholtz and Homecrest Renovations. The quality and experience he brought to the project kept my stress in check and exceeded my expectations.

Right from the beginning all the way to the end Randy and his team did an amazing job in redoing my bathroom. Tear down, installation and completion were all completed as he indicated through out. He was pleasure to work with and just made the whole process stress free. He did such a wonderful job I've already made the decision for my next project I will be calling him first.

Homecrest has done an amazing job renovating my 6,500 square foot martial arts and fitness facility (Double Dragon). They moved my full size professional boxing ring up to above our change rooms and built a beautiful mezzanine with games room for the kids and a walk way to the boxing ring. They also did an amazing job welding our new American Ninja Warrior hanging obstacles along with a salmon ladder. I would recommend them for any renovation that you may be thinking of as they get things done properly and in a timely manner as well as on budget.

I first met Randy when my husband was working on our front porch. We were having trouble deciding how best to proceed and a friend recommended Randy. He came by and gave us some great advice. Randy ended up building our lower deck and railings. Awesome job, Good price and done in a day. He also showed up on a Friday afternoon to advise my husband on finishing the upper porch and helped him for an hour which he never did bill us for!

Later that year I hired Homecrest to do our bathroom. New tub, shower, toilet, cabinets, walls, floor and trim. Randy's work and timeline were great but it was the little things that he suggested (California ceiling, crown molding, trim, etc.) that I really liked.

Our kitchen is next. Will be hiring Randy again!

Randy at Home Crest Reno has went above and beyond our expectations for our project! We had a 1/4 finished basement by the previous homeowner that was not done properly. Randy and his team came in and took out all that was done poorly and finished the whole basement, floor, walls and ceiling. Everything was done on time and on budget. Randy was extremely helpful AND available through the whole process of choosing flooring, paint, design, multi-media and accessories. Our Custom Bar and Entertainment area has turned out amazing and everyone who enters our basement loves it! The REAL added bonus to this project is Randy and his team created a beautiful washroom suite in our basement that did not even have a plumbing rough in or the planned space for it. With the awesome Bar and Entertainment are we needed a washroom to match and Home Crest Reno did not let us down. They built a full 4 piece bathroom that all admire when they come to our house.

Randy did a kitchen reno for us. He tiled the floor, opened up the kitchen to the dining room and sprayed a California ceiling in both rooms. He did a great job and was very accomodating to our ideas and requirements.
