We live in a small town that the big pool guys dont want to drive to and Splashworks recommended him. The work seemed ok but the mess he left behind was rotten. I have uploaded the pics. They left garbage all over for us to clean up. Did not put the pavers back as they were around the pool and left them all uneven with a ton of excess sand. Took us over a week to clean it up. We then booked him to open and he shows up, decides we need a new chlorinator seal, doesnt tell us anything and comes back with the seal and charges us an extra 125.00 service call on top! And a 20$ seal was 50 bux. I would have told him to wait considering it was 3rd week in april and too early to swim! So my open ended up costing me 550.00. Poor communication. Don't recommend.
Paul did indeed get me out of trouble and back into hot water! Paul is very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem immediately. He ordered the replacement part for me, and installed it in a timely manner and maintained excellent communication every step of the way.
Talked to Paul on June 12th, he came by June 17th and said he could put in a replacement pool pump 1HP that week (said Thursday the 20th). Never showed. Said the pump is in his truck (never showed). Friday the 21st asked him if he could get it in before the weekend, he said, "yes". Never showed. Said, "we are trying". Saturday evening I msged him, asked him if he works weekends, he said, "lol I do work weekends. I work from 7:30 in the morning till 9 o'clock at night seven days a week right now". Asked him if he could make it, he said, "we are putting in a line right now". So I replied, "yesterday didn't happen, tomorrow?", he replied, "yes tomorrow morn". The next day, Sunday the 23rd, I msged him, but no show, no message. Nothing. Yesterday Monday the 24th, my wife msged Paul asking him to come by and put in the pump, as mosquitos are breeding in our pool. Nothing. No reply, no Paul Hunter. Nothing. So if that is professionalism in London ON, I don't know what is. Today is Tuesday the 25th and no word, no visit, no msg, no email. Nothing. Crickets. Wow.
Paul came out and examined our pool, within 20 minutes he told us we had a leak in the return line and exactly, where it was. He cut the concrete out, and he was spot on to where the leak was. Pool repaired, with very little mess or digging looking for the leak. Would recommend Paul to anyone that owns a pool or spa.
Every winter when I closed my pool I would lose water. It was baffling to me. Contacted Paul who had a diver go in who figured out that the liner was coming away from the main drain & the water was leaking there. They had to go away for a few days to figure out the best way to repair. Came back with sand bags which they placed around the main drain to weigh down the liner & stop it from floating up. They were able to remove the main drain & close it off and reseal everything up just like new. All this was done with water in the pool & we didn't need to drain it for the repair! Pool has not leaked since. Paul was fast, efficient & very professional. I highly recommend him for all your pool needs.
