We had the most frustrating experience with Island Pro. Excited to landscape our back yard, Cam the president of the company came to take a look and said "oh yes we can do that", and then never contacted me again. I waited and waited and finally phoned him again. This went on for months....he always had a reason why he wasn't getting the job done..."very busy"....."trying to contact someone to pour the concrete". Cam rarely answered my emails .....almost zero communication with me. I instigated every phone call or email. Almost 10 months later we have a mediocre looking back yard with pea gravel spilling into the mulch and a garden bed that still isn't level. Very ironic that the invoice from Island Pro arrived within hours after the job was completed. I would never contact this company again for any type of yard work.

Terrible experience and service all around.
Agreed to once a week service year round, with a list of general property maintenance items to stay on top of.
Made it clear I have no problem paying for extra time occasionally as needed.
Does not complete additional work every time it is requested, despite agreeing every time to do so. I am totally willing to pay, but evidently they don't want the work.
Every business has hiccups, challenges, weather or staffing problems, etc...which is fine...but to not show up at a customer's property when agreed, not call to make new arrangements, AND also not return emails and phone calls after, is totally unprofessional and unacceptable.
Despite totally unpredictable sporadic visits to my property to mow only (although agreed scope of work was much greater), a regular monthly invoice appears that represents the most expensive lawn mowing service I have ever hired.
I have NO problem paying a premium rate for superior service, but this company totally fails to deliver at all levels. Save yourself a bunch of grief and take your business elsewhere!
