Dishwasher not draining. I called Appliance Repair - supposedly a company - but someone came out from Junior Appliances. (AKA Junior Appliance Repair.) Charged me $150 for diagnosis and said total bill would be $340. He spent about an hour here fiddling around and talking on his phone in a different language. Told me the hose needed replacing and that it would take 1-2 business days to get the part. It is now 2 weeks later and nothing. I've called the company (780-628-5823) and they keep telling me the part hasn't come in yet. The refuse to provide an address. They tell me the manager will call, but that doesn't happen. I am beyond angry. I can't afford to lose $150. I'm supposed to certify that I did hire Junior Appliance Repair, but I didn't. I hired Appliance Repair. However, I paid Junior Appliances, so I'm going to certify that.
We paid $75 for an estimate to repair our washing machine it was alleged that it requires a new control panel, we received a verbal estimate that the part would be over $400 plus labour. But it would take 2 months for the part to come in. We asked them to order the part.
2 months later my wife called on the status she was told they had no record that we called to order the part. But they would double check with the technician and get back to us. I called a week later after further discussions I was informed that the part was ordered, I asked to speak to the owner or manager, they would call me......no call, following week I called again I was no informed the part had not been ordered, asked again to speak to the owner/manager, to this date we have had call backs.
We contacted another repair company gave them model and alleged part damage informed that the part should only take 1 week to come in, but recommended to come out to confirm first. The repair person( 2 of them) came out and repaired the wariness on the spot total cost was just over $300 including parts and labour
DO NOT RECOMMEND JUNIOR APPLIANCE REPAIR COMPANY!
This company was awful to deal with. They didn't fix the problem and then when I asked for an invoice they have yet to send one and I had this completed January 28th 2020. The first time they fixed it they didn't even change the part. My renter indicated he just fiddled with it and lied about replacing the part. Then I called, yelled and they finally came and fixed it. And yet I STILL have NO Invoice when I need it to claim for my rental property in my taxes. Never use this company. The tech also couldn't speak english.
I say "shame on you" Sem. Horrible experience. I called a business named Appliance Repair Edmonton but the company that came out was Junior Appliance Service. The repairman was rude, condescending and talked on his phone most of the time he was at my home. The same as a person in a previous review, I too was uncomfortable having him in my home. He told me that it would cost almost $600 to repair my dishwasher. He knew that I would say no, because I could buy a new dishwasher for less. So he basically came to waste time so he could get the service call fee. He didn't even put my dishwasher back properly so it would bang against a cabinet when I would open it. I called another appliance technician to check the same dishwasher after that bad experience. He fixed the problem with a $40 part and put my dishwasher back properly.
Do not use this company they OVER charge on labour. Way too expensive. For a half hour service they charge 170. When I asked why so much they told me that was the normal rate for service. No refund, just argued with me on the phone and said he would come and take the part out and charge me 75 for diagnostics. Crook.
I set an appointment for the guy to come out and look at and possibly fix my dishwasher. He switched out a part for us that we already knew about and had. replaced the pump (which he had a part in his vehicle) and tightened it into the counter. I was quoted $69 for the visit which will be deducted from the labor cost if any repairs are done. When the guy looked at everything he told me it will be $130. plus tax. I said lets do it and he proceeded. When he was done, he gave me a bill for 330. plus tax. His english wasn't the greatest which is why we had different figures, but even still for a solid hours work and a part he was EXTREMELY overpriced and couldn't give me a very good breakdown. It felt like he made up the price and the part price. He was nice but the whole experience felt very shady. They charge apparently per job and the rates are very high. I will NOT be using them again. I learned as well when dealing with someone with a thick accent to get him to write down his quote so I can see it on paper. I would have refused if I had seen 330. rather than 130. but lesson learned.
I have to warn everyone away from this terrible business. This company goes by multiple phone numbers but they are all the same - super sketchy. To anyone reading this, please be careful about you are calling and try to go with someone reputable.
The service is unprofessional and the staff was rude. I hired them because my freezer was not cold enough, came to my house and spent 5 mins then told us to wait 4-5hours, when we texted him he then said to wait 24-48 hours before it would get colder. After 48 hours, he refused to come out to check the freezer and was rude and cursing my financé through text all through the night. Hope no one ever goes through this horrible service
I see others have had a very bad experience with them along the same lines. Please stay away from this shady company.
This company is horrible!! Eugene came out twice to fix my fridge in 3 mos because same problem persisted. Then they failed to show for 2 appts I set up with Vadim and now, of course, they won't return my phone calls or emails. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They should refund my $$ as everything is still under warranty so I can go to someone who knows what they're doing!!
Unreliable, untrustworthy, unprofessional, extreme overcharge. Technician, came looked at washing machine. The seal needs to be replaced for 40/50.00 with tax. Day after he came with no part, sitting there for 30 min for his coworker to drop the part. Job completed after. Asked for 475.00!!!!!!!!. ????????????????????. I told him it is extreme overcharged! If I knew I wouldn't agree for replacement!!!! I checked Amazon for the part fee, it was between 40/120$!!!!!!!! What an awful experience. I won't recommend this company to anyone! Worst experience in my whole life!
Repair man came...looked at stove...I had given them the model number of range (stove)
when I first contacted this number. Was charged $85.00 + for him to have a look! A few days later repair mam came back but did not have the correct part and was told it was no longer available. I called another appliance repair (Sherwood) and was told it was available....googled and sure enough could get it for $ 276.00 plus tax. Trusted Pro repair
said would return initial $85.00 if the part was available. Their office lady called me and said would email $$ to me. That statement was ridiculous as she did not have our bank account number...password etc. just an email address. They all were not truthful from beginning to end! I am out $85.00 and very disappointed that they were not truthful.
