Professionalism from the start. I know it is a weird beginning to a review, but it is what stands out for me. We set a time and date for John to take a look at our bathroom, and he showed up on time, which is sadly becoming less common. He actually called on his way to assure us he would be here on time.
The first meeting was good. He answered all of our questions very directly and offered other perspectives on what we were looking to get done. We liked that he asked our budget expectations right up front.... after he explained. Initially, I was taken back and just wanted him to give us a quote. He explained if he knew what we were interested in spending he could save us time by suggesting fixtures and finishes in our budget.... rather than all of us wasting time.
The proposal they submitted was pages long and listed everything that was included. When compared to others we received that were essentially, "renovate Bathroom for $" it was a nice departure from that.
The showroom selection process was spectacular and the interface they use for communication is really slick. It made us feel at ease to have a brick and mortar location for our renovator. We only needed 1 visit to his showroom and we had everything selected. We also went to a tile showroom they suggested to confirm our selections.
The project went smooth and remarkably clean. They put down and removed drop cloths daily from the entry door for our house, to the room they were working in. They even vacuumed a number of times thru the hallways in the 3 weeks they were here.
There were some unforeseen structural issues that they brought to our attention. They gave us an estimate for the repair and we went forward with it. Other than that they simply showed up every day, from start to finish and got the job done.
The end product exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail was stunning. My wife still wants to find a reason to show new guests to the bathroom. If you are considering them for a project, my advice is to go with Kitchen and Bath Professionals.

Kitchen & Bath Professionals was started over 35yrs ago well, the curiosity to build things and the eagerness to learn about how to do them well. I m John, when my father started to get me helping him fix things around the house I was hooked. I didn t know I was going to do it as a profession, but I knew I d always have a decent set of tools and a passion to fix things.
When I was done high school I wanted to keep learning so it was off to college. I completed the 3.5yr Architectural Technologist course from Mohawk College and formally embarked on my path to gaining some in the field experience, before starting as it is now. I knew having the technical book smarts were an asset but I just needed to do the work. So I worked for an engineering company, a number of Home Builders and other construction companies, both commercial and residential, in a wide range of capacities.
All of that experience brought me to being very resolute in opening my own company, to provide the best quality product the client requested at a reasonable price. Most importantly I try to ensure that there is a comprehensive line of communication and educate along the way where needed.
It s actually quite simple to me I want to bring your vision out and help you have that when we are done.

We are certified Schluter installers and use their products exclusively for waterproofing of showers and uncoupling products. That allows us to offer their Lifetime Warranty with those installations conforming to their requirements. Product warranties will be covered by the manufacturer of the specific product and will fall under their limited warranty. |
