Luis and his son, Sean worked on my 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom condominium renovation. The entire unit was pretty much demolished and done up again. They took the time to listen and understand what I wanted and always made sure to communicate with me every step of the way. Whenever we were faced with a challenge or obstacle, Luis and Sean found creative solutions for them. To be completely honest, the best thing about them is that they are down-to-earth, honest-to-goodness guys who will work on your project as if it is their own. I felt very safe being around them knowing that they treated me with respect and care.

Before doing this project, I reached out to about 10 different contractors and met with 7 of them. Luis’ initial quote was at the maximum end of my budget, but after talking with all the different contractors and comparing the quotes, his made the most sense to me. Also, just based on our initial meeting, Luis’ vision for the renovation project felt most aligned with mine.

I would highly recommend Luis and Sean for any kind of project. They worked well with me, my family, and also with my condominium board and management (who are VERY picky).

We did run into a few snags, many of which were directly related to COVID restrictions and delays etc. Luis always tried his hardest to offset those challenges and made sure to keep me in the loop about the best possible course of action.

He also works with other subcontractors who are licensed to do work in condominium buildings. To be honest, their work was okay, but there were still lots of little things that needed to be fixed, most of which Luis ended up figuring out himself. He is very particular about giving his clients quality work, and will put in the extra effort to ensure that you are satisfied.

If you’re looking for a couple of guys that have hearts made of gold, good work ethic, fair pricing, and quality work, you should most definitely reach out to Luis and Sean. I really hope to see them do exceedingly well in their careers and every sphere of life.

I will update this post with some pictures later on. I don’t have very good ‘before’ shots, but just imagine an original 1977 layout with a lot of carpet, mirrors, and walls that separated the space into several smaller rooms. Luis and Sean did a whole transformation!

After having our initial meeting with Luis, we entrusted him and his crew to install the necessary and required flooring for our home. His years of experience showed in his work ethics and we were extremely happy with his patience, workmanship and dedication to getting our main floor looking beautiful.

Luis and his team did a fantastic job turning the vision I had for my son’s room into reality! They were a pleasure to work with. Very dependable, always showed up on time, worked efficiently to get the job done on schedule and with great attention to detail. We hired Luis Botelho of LSB Renovations to do a complete renovation of our 3-bedroom condo as soon as Covid building restrictions were relaxed by the provincial government.

Despite originally planning to have one month to get a solid start on the renovations, because of Covid we landed up only having four days to get the flooring installed. Luis & his team had to remove the kitchen tiles & carpeting & lay the new flooring throughout the condo – so that we could at least move our possessions into the middle of the living room. They worked tirelessly & “made it happen”.

They brought the same work ethic to everything else that they did - including a completely new kitchen & two bathrooms. They were a total pleasure to work with & when there were any challenges with the existing structure (nothing had been done in this unit since the condominium was built) Luis found a solution each & every time. His workmanship is impeccable & his overriding concern is that his clients are happy with the end-result. We know this for a fact because being that this was a new experience for us, we changed our minds on some items & Luis found a way to accommodate what we asked.

The guys were always on time and they cleaned up the debris from each day’s work before they left the condo at the end of the day. They were respectful of the condo’s rules regarding renovations & had a good working relationship with the Security Desk – in terms of using the service elevator for bringing materials up & taking garbage down on an ongoing basis.

Most importantly, we feel that the quote we were given was fair for the work involved & there were “no surprises” after the fact. Where there were additional costs involved, Luis made us fully aware of these costs up front – as we went along throughout the project.

Despite the challenges of doing such a major reno in a Covid environment, Luis & his team brought a positive approach to the job each & every day. We have great respect for his honesty & integrity. I cannot recommend LSB Renovations highly enough. I would be happy to speak to anyone who is looking to hire Luis Botelho & his team to do any home renovations.

I was referred the wonderful services of LSB renovations through a friend after my previous contractor took my money and ran! Luis and Sean were there to bail me out for a fraction of the price the other crook quoted me (took me for). The guys are amazing both on and off the job site, just fantastic human beings, they even went as far as to bring me a coffee every morning and were always punctual arriving minimum 5 minutes early. Their work speaks for itself. Luis is definition a jack of all trades, never have I seen a contractor with such exceptional skills in all aspects of home renovation. He has a laser eye for detail and will make sure the work is done beyond expection the first time. In addition his partner Sean may be the best hand in drywall and flooring. Though he brings to the table, a exceptional work ethic, incomparable commitment to a task and pride of his work. Once he starts a task he won't even pause for a drink of water until it's completed. If you want honest, hard working and reassuring contractors with a high standard of craftsmanship then LSB are your guys! Will definitely be calling them back and referring to all my friends and family!

LSB provided the most professional service we could have ever hoped for. Not only does Luis do impeccable work, he was always on-time and most important, stayed within our budget. We are so impressed with Luis work that we cannot wait to get him to work on the inside of our house! Thank you Luis for giving us our little oasis. We truly love it and look forward to spending many hours in our beautiful backyard this Summer!

LSB was very friendly and professional and they were fair with the pricing. They finished the job in a timely manner which we appreciated because we really needed the washroom. The work looks great and we are more then satisfied. They are a company full of promise that we would like to do further business with them in the near future.

We hired LSB Renovations to do our floors and stairs. At the time we only wanted to do the living room and the upstairs hallways, as they were doing the job they showed us the difference that would make if we would do the rooms as well with no sales pressure on us, it actually made more sense to do the all house, which we agree and it looks great, way better than I ever imagine, after the great job he did for us, we hired him again to paint the all house has the prices here great.

In both occasions he was done within the time period agreed.
