I hired LSB Renovations after I moved into my new condo to tear up the carpet and replace it with hardwood. Luis was very knowledgeable and helped me choose the correct flooring for my needs. I went with laminate instead of hardwood and I was very pleased. The work was done in my bedroom (210 sq ft) in under 4 hours. They were clean, courteous, professional and the attention to detail was spot on!

A week later my home had a massive flood and the new flooring, original flooring, baseboards and drywall had to be ripped out and I was down to concrete. I called Luis and he came right away, gave me a quote in line with what my insurance company quoted and scheduled time for the repairs within the month.

In addition to completing the repairs he went over and above. He helped me install new appliances, do repairs under the sinks and fill and caulk around the home.

I completely back this company and would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, experienced and meticulous contractor.

We hired Luis to finish our basement this past winter. He was very friendly, worked quickly, was flexible with our requirements and was well priced. We were very pleased with the outcome and would definitely ask him to come back for any work we needed done in the future.

We hired LSB renovations to upgrade / paint a small bathroom and install hardwood floor/ paint the family room. LSB provided the best estimate of all contractors, stating clearly work and material costs.

The bathroom upgrade actually consisted in total removal of tiles, sink, faucets, toilette, shower, etc., replacing them and installing a vanity and a shower door.

Luis and Shawn did very good quality work, in a timeframe quicker than we expected. They provided services when required without additional charge. We love both the bathroom and the family room. We will definitely hire LSB for future renovation projects.

We hired LSB Renovations to upgrade our washrooms. The kids were sharing a single sink and we wanted to upgrade to a double sink. The kid's bathroom tub was also extremely deep so we wanted to put in a shallower tub. In the Master washroom, we had a soaker tub that we never used. We wanted to remove the tub and replace it with additional storage (make up counter and a linen closet). With the extra space, we decided to increase the size our shower.

We invited multiple contractors to provide a quote on our project. The kid's washroom was very straight forward whereas the master washroom was more involved. I was looking for creativity and allowing each contractor to propose the best use of the available space. I found that Luis proposed options that would make the washroom more functional whereas other contractors proposed options that would just drive the price up. It was obvious that Luis has a wealth of experience and has been doing renovations for many years. Luis also provided a very detailed quote and an accurate estimate of how long the project will take. The project was on time and on budget.

Luis did everything possible to minimize the impact on us during the renovations. He delayed certain tasks to ensure we always had a working washroom for us to use during the renovations. Luis was always receptive to our concerns and did everything possible to ensure we were happy. Luis also looked for ways to save us money. We were short a couple tiles from what the builder left behind, so instead of ripping it out completely, we came up with patterns using newer tiles to complement the existing tiles. Luis was also open to making changes along the way and never once charged us extra for any of the modifications. He even fixed a couple extra things around the house that needed attention.

The cabinetry guy he uses is extremely top quality. The new vanities/countertops he installed are better quality then our existing cabinets that came with the house.

During the project, it was generally Luis and his son that were here every day. We didn't have an army of trades people coming in and out of the house. We felt comfortable with Luis and we are looking forward to working with him on our next project.

We bought a house with a basement completely gutted. We hired Luis to do a complete renovation in the basement and he did an awesome job. We had some delays and had some extra expenses but I can say it was out of his hands (like having to wait for inspection or finding something that was not in the scope of the original project and needed to be done).

The quality of his work is incredible. He really takes work seriously and do it as it will be for his own house. Working with Luis was a peace of mind (we were out of the country at the beginning of the project. He kept working in the house and informing us about the status of the job. He was even sending pictures every other day to show the progress!).

We believe we were very lucky to find Luis. If we ever have to do any other renovation, we will for sure call him again. Also I will recommend to all my family and friends.

Luis is wonderful! We had a small bathroom, now we have our dream bathroom-- modern, larger fresh and beautiful. I think Luis went above and beyond, and I'm looking forward to having him back soon for more renovations. He even put up our T.V ! I had a great experience with LSB Renovations Inc. We had our house painted. The painting job was beautiful. I absolutely love it. Luis was very friendly and helpful. He was always on time and worked within my budget. His pricing is very reasonable. The job was a success and done on time, I couldn't have been happier.

He has renovated 3 condos for me.

Kitchens, showers, toilets, tiling and flooring, as well as new pot lighting in kitchens and hallways. He does what you ask him to do as well as fixing other contractors mistakes.

I'm not finished with him yet. He'll be doing my back splashes in the kitchen and in the bathrooms and installing a fireplace/TV wall in my living room.

His price is reasonable and he takes the garbage away (very important in a condo).

I wouldn't hire anyone else.

Once we decided to do some long overdue renovations to our home the next step was finding a reliable contractor. Luis came highly recommended by friends. We were looking for an honest, dependable contractor who took pride in his work and we weren’t disappointed.

Luis quoted on a long list of updates to our home that included renovating the basement by replacing 60’s panelling with drywall, renovating the bathroom and adding a kitchen. Upstairs the kitchen and bathroom needed updating, and we wanted to remove the wall to wall carpeting and paint.

Luis would arrive early in the morning, so we had time to discuss his plans for the day before I left for work. As with most renovations, you never know what you might find once you get started and we were no exception. In our case because of the age of our home it was what we didn’t find. There was no insulation along the outside walls in the basement which explained why we found it very cold and damp and not a place we enjoyed spending time in. Luis offered his suggestions to correct the problem and we now have a comfortable living space for everyone to use. Upstairs when the carpeting was removed in the bedrooms we were pleasantly surprised to see the hardwood floors were in great shape and hoped to see the same for the living room and dining room, but we weren’t as lucky. Luis suggested we install new hardwood in the rooms upstairs with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom and we were very pleased with the results.

Our home is 57 years old and we have owned it for 18 years. It had been over 25 years since any inside renovations had been done and we are very happy with the results.

This project was a first for me, I got a reno done to extend the master closet and new flooring in the kitchen. All I have to say is thank goodness I found LSB Renovations and Luis. The project turned out beautifully and I am extremely pleased. The work was completed in a timely manner by a very hardworking contractor, he was go, go, go from start to end, which was amazing! Not only did Luis do a great job, but he was even able to assist with some supplier negotiations, I'm glad I included him in the conversation because he was able to provide insight that I as a client simply would not have. I have absolutely no qualms in recommending Luis to anyone, he's a hard worker who knows how to get the job done, and get it done well. For someone who was unsure about starting this project...all I have to say now is I'm glad I did and ever more so that LSB Renovations was there to do the project. Every step of the way from the time of the quote to sign off was performed professionally, courteously and respectful of time and budget. i've hired luis and his team to reno my kitchen and bathroom at a downtown condo i recently moved in. i hired him purely based on the reviews on here and his estimate. i have to say i was a lil worried at first just because it is still hiring a contractor off a website, but i'm very glad i hired luis, him and his team were very friendly and punctual, explained everything they would do and let me know any associated cost before commencing any work.

during the renovation i've added a few additional things to my plans and he willingly took on my requests and quote me a fair cost for the work. the work was completed on time and it looks great at the end.

LSB Renovations was hired to complete a renovation job after I had to release the current contractor due to poor quality work and not showing up when required. Louie provided us with a timeline and a quote to which he was able to stick too. He was punctual, efficient with his time and the quality of work was great. I definitely recommend this company.

We cannot say how pleased we are that we chose LSB Renovations for our flooring project. We needed to remove existing laminate flooring, redo our stairs, bring life to our old fireplace and install a half drywall with columns to add some beauty to our existing living room.
