Majestic Colours Painting & Renovations

When I reached out to Majestic I was in a bit of a rush to get someone in. I had just replaced all my upstairs flooring and needed someone to paint some damaged baseboards & walls, and do some other paint updates before I could move all my furniture back. I was sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor and really didn't want to wait weeks to gather quotes and book someone in. Zee was very busy but saw that I needed help quick and went out of his way to squeeze me in so I could get back to life. You can tell that he honestly cares about his customers and will go above and beyond to make them happy. On top of all that, he is passionate about his business and takes incredible pride in what he does. You don’t have to beg him for information about his business, examples of his work or references – he provides them all up front and leaves no doubt about the kind of company you’re hiring. The quality of his work and his team’s work are fantastic. You can find cheaper painters but you’re gambling with the quality of the work being done. Zee is a truly kind person who cares about his customers and stands behind his work. I have a lot more painting I’d like to have done, and Zee will be the first person I go to in the future. Majestic Colours painted our recently renovated basement. Zee and his team exceeded expectations from the quote to the clean up. We have had many trades people working on our house recently and Zee and his team were far and away the best. They went above and beyond the job requirements. They fixed errors that previous trades had made. The attention to detail and professional shown was refreshing and consistent throughout the whole process. The work is impeccable and Zee is one of the most genuine kind individuals we’ve had the pleasure of working with. We were looking for vendors to paint our home and chanced upon Majestic Colours when we saw his van in our neighborhood and took down the contact number. Right from our first phone interaction, we were impressed with his response, clarity & depth of knowledge. The in-home consultation just cemented our belief that Zee was the perfect man for the job. He spent time examining the house, going over what needs to be done and presenting all his work, the top-of-the-line material he would be using and all his credentials. He took the time to answer all our questions and never made us feel rushed. His quote was not the cheapest but seeing all the wonderful reviews from other satisfied clients and his sincerity, we decided to go with Majestic Colours.

Zee committed to completing the job in 4 days and he was true to his word. We have had several contractors do work at our place for different reasons over the years and till date we have never seen a contractor and a crew as punctual as Majestic Colours. Zee was at our home on the dot of the committed time, would get to business and work away with dedication. Zee and his crew were quiet, respectful and mindful. At no point of time, did we ever have to worry about the job or feel the need to oversee things.

Zee is a perfectionist and that shows in his work. The prep work that the crew did was exceptional – plastic covers, drop cloths, taping the floors, flood lights, sanding surfaces. At all points of time, he would communicate with us on the progress and always encouraged questions. On the final day, he and his crew cleaned up after themselves and swept the floors. This is a man who takes pride in the quality of his work and has high standards of perfection from himself.

My husband’s family owns a body shop and coming from that business, he is very particular about the finishes and final touches. My husband is pleased as punch with the work and that says a lot. We are so happy with the results and would definitely recommend Majestic Colours to anyone who is looking for a quality paint job!

I have received quotes from 4 different painters for painting my condo (living room, 2 bedrooms, and kitchen), and Majestic Colours is not the lowest quote. However, I ended up choosing Majestic because Zee (the owner) really impressed me with his knowledge, honesty, and sincerity during our in-home consultation. When I called Zee, he responded right away, and I had an appointment with him the next day. I have to say that every penny was worth it, as the quality of the work speaks for itself, and I am exceptionally pleased with the result.

Zee and the crew (Faruk and Sonny) were amazing !! They are well-manner and work quietly & diligently as a team. They arrived 8:30am and worked until 8:30pm (12-hr shift), and I was tired just watching them (they must be exhausted at the end of the day…what a dedication). Zee came back alone the following morning to finish up the baseboards and some final touch-up (he is just a perfectionist !!)

During the paint job, I was constantly asking questions to get myself educated and every one of the crew took the time to explain things to me, as well as sharing with me some trade secrets!!

Here are the high-lights of the ‘extras’ that Majestic provides to their valued customers –

- covering all the cabinets with clear plastics to keep them paint free

- putting drop-clothes covering the entire floors

- patching up drywalls and sanding down for smooth surface prior to painting

- using flood lights to illuminate any blemish /flaws to ensure a perfect paint job done

- inform/communicate with the home owner throughout the paint job

- brushing off drywall dust prior to painting baseboards for a smooth finish

- cleaning up all the paint drops on the floor, if any

- sweeping the floor surface before departing (Zee even swept behind the fridge for me!)

The last but not the least, Zee helped me to move a couple furniture around so I can put felt pads on the legs, to protect my new flooring. He went extra mileage (without me asking) in doing touching-up paint on my door frames. All these extra efforts are called ‘supreme customer service’, and I would definitely use them again. I would also recommend them to all my friends and relatives!!

Zaffir's service was exceptional. He went out of his way and fixed some defects left over from a previous job. Although a bit on the higher side with price, the service and quality justifies it.

Before Zaffir came, our new house was in desperate need of a paint job. The last paint job by the previous owners looked quick and messy. There was paint everywhere, including on shower tiles, towel racks, and door frames. There were also greasy spots, poor patch jobs, and holes and dents that needed filling. There were even pieces of popcorn ceiling on the walls! Zaffir and his team fixed up all the problem areas and made our house look brand new. He is a true perfectionist and takes great pride in his work.

Zaffir was also very professional to work with. He responded to calls/texts promptly and always arrived on-time in the morning. He worked around our busy schedule to find a week that worked for both of us. He even worked late a couple days to make sure he finished before our out-of-town visitors arrived. He was also patient with me and gave good advice as I deliberated between which paint colours to pick.

Overall, we had a great experience working with Zaffir and I would highly recommend him and his team. He’s definitely the one I’ll be calling if we ever need more painting!

Zaffir’s level of professionalism and talent would be very hard to match. He has incredible attention to detail. He is incredibly focused while he is working. He is diligent about leaving the project clean (and covers everything). This is our second project with him. I would highly recommend him.
