I spent over $10k putting in an in-floor heating system a few years ago. The system is good...quality of service is beyond lousy. I had an issue with one of the parts corroding and leaking. I asked the owner ("Pete") if he could fix it. After waiting a few days for a response and having to send multiple texts, I was told that "Pete" no longer lives in Toronto but has relocated to Huntsville. No explanation as to why he couldn't come from Huntsville to Toronto to do the repair to the system that he sold me.
I then asked "Pete" if he could recommend someone in Toronto. Its been 6 days and many text messages and he has not gotten back to me.
Having in-ground heating is good but if the installation company refuses to even answer your inquiries when you need service, then what good is the initial investment.
Save hassle and go with a company that stands behind what they sell.
